“Will I be able to see you tomorrow?”
“Yes.”

SMACK!
AND SHE IS SEPARATED FROM HIM!
OH MY GOD I’M CRYING.
I WAS NOT EXPECTING THE JUMP TO HAPPEN SO SOON- BUT!!!
MY HEART! POOR HEART- just shattered like glass.
I am in tears! (Not waterfalls, just simple small tears but it doesn’t change the fact that I am legitimately crying for Kent!)
*Wipes away tears*
AMNESIA Ep 7 Img 0014This episode was like a breath of fresh air because this was hands down the most genuinely adorable, and humorous episode yet. There was no drama, it was very laid back and for most part until he revealed that he figured out (well theorized) that the Heroine lost her memories, she actually for once (or at least seems to be so) had an upper-hand because Kent is so new to relationships.
Kent is absolutely adorable when he is trying so hard to be affectionate. He is a very smart guy, a university graduate mathematics student. He is the kind who follows the more logical response rather than an emotional, which makes people have very little patience with him. Even though he has his flaws (being forgetful about his promise to attend the festival with the Heroine) I still adore him. He just topped Ikki for me (because of he is so adorable I find it charming). I would like to say, “Everyone goes home now!” but we still have yet to see a glimpse of all of the guys.
AMNESIA Ep 7 Img 0019What really surprised me, was that when Orion popped up, he told the Heroine that she can tell him about her circumstances. The whole scene was great, from the heroine having to describe/draw Orion to show Kent what he looks like to Kent questioning him about the circumstances. The saddest part was that he felt sad about the fact the present Heroine will disappear, just when he started to open up and grasp what love is because she was being more affectionate than her parallel self. But then our present Heroine gave him some reassurance saying that her self from his world has a hard time being honest and actually did like him. It was really sweet.
With that said, our dear Heroine is now on Toma’s route! While she had it easy on Kent’s route, we will see if she will need to be on guard on this one.

This ep totally caught me off guard too! I wasn’t even a massive Kent fan (never played the game but I’ve been looking forward to Toma’s route based on his personality from the first few eps) but still felt a bit miffed how they rushed past him like that, he was so adorable lol but I guess its BECAUSE he figured it out so quickly that there wouldn’t be much else to do since we all know by now that everytime she ‘dies’ she’ll wound up somewhere else and I doubt Kent would be so smart that he would be able to stop something like that. But oh man the whole scene with Orion talking to him was pretty funny xD and honestly this ep felt like we’ve got some progess for once, and while I really did like the Ikki eps I haven’t felt like that since Shin first found out about her memory loss. Though I gotta say this series has surprised me, maybe its because I haven’t played it but this really feels like a decent game adaption for once! Aaah sorry for the ramble 8D; but keep up the good reviews!

Thank you! <3 <3 <3 No worries about rambling, I love reading other people's thoughts as well.
Yeah it's almost too bad that Kent only has one episode (for now) but despite that I found they paced it really well (he's so precious ajsdhakjsd i want to hug him). But who knows, perhaps there will be an episode where the case becomes extremely unstable and she is hopping back and forth between routes within one episode. I can see it causing mass confusion for both the Heroine and the audience ahaha.

seriously i feel the same way too!
Kent is too precious <3 <3 His systematic way of doing things, i find it charming.
the way he projects things and analyze them, he seems more considerate rather than being pushy.. i have never played the game (tho i read the game review somewhere for everyone's route), i was impressed with ikki route at first..maa, seeing Kent episode on the anime side (mind off the game reviews), this episode leaves me kind of heart shattering moment in a glimpse. when Kent showed that sad face, it hinted me that something is gonna happen then..it seems the Heroine shift to another world again.
tq for your lovely reviews. i love the screen caps. ^_^

God forbid I’m actually happy with the setup for more than one episode T.T granted I didn’t dislike Toma from the get-go like with Shin and Ikki, but with him being the last official harem member (and by that logic the most important one asides from Ukyou maybe) and his apparent nice-guy attitude I’ve still got him pegged as the ‘good-guy-who’s-bad-somehow’ type. I know Ukyou is insane, but that just makes him the ‘evil-guy-who-might-not-be-evil-actually’ type, it’s completely different lol
Aaah, but still, this episode was a real breath of fresh air for me. It’s nice to see the guy being concerned for the girl’s feeling rather than his own- beyond the whole ‘does she actually love me?’ shtick I mean. And wow, when Kent tricked her into revealing her memory loss I was like “OH SHIT!!” because I just wasn’t expecting it, he went about it in such a nonchalant manner haha. It was nice seeing Orion interacting with someone other than our heroine, although I’m super frustrated by the fact that no one has managed to ask the MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION: why did Orion bump into her in the first place? You could say he was just in a rush and wasn’t looking where he was going, but he must have been in one hell of a rush to crash into someone that lives on a different dimensional plane =/ c’mon people…
And our lovely heroine even got to be more enjoyable this episode, from changing her attire to not acting like a brick wall every time her love interest spoke to her, haha. I was compelled to talk to my mother on the subject of memory loss, as she works in an old-folks home and deals with a lot of Alzheimer patients. In particular, I asked her how a person is when they loos their memories- like, are they a blank slate or do they have their personalities still? If they’re trying to act normally to the people around them, wouldn’t they at least know to speak when spoken to and such? It’s common sense! My mother replied saying that for someone to forget absolutely would be a very difficult thing, and that it’s possible they wouldn’t remember what acting ‘normal’ was like at all. The conversation got really dark after that and I felt bad for asking D= but it seems that the writers on staff weren’t inaccurate with our heroine’s behavior, so I’m going to try and be more forgiving towards her/them from now on >.<

      <_< .... *COUGH* >_>
      I didn’t even think of that LMAO!!!! I have a feeling that might be one of the plotholes, but I do hope that they will address it. \(^_^);;;

That’s why I haven’t been particularly bothered by that because I too am somewhat familiar with some cases of memory loss (and like you said it’s quite dark and very sad). Also, when you look at it in another perspective: How do you know what is “normal” or what is “you” if you have no recollection of prior experiences? Memories heavily influence and shape who we are. Without it, it’s like a character without a background story and empty.
