Oh, well they decided to save the details of Angelo’s murderous spree until this episode. But I think that actually made the atmosphere more intense, because you couldn’t help but get a feeling of dread when Angelo was sweetly talking to Tomoko, while Jotaro was giving us the details of the rapes and murders, and seeing the visuals as well. The anime actually made it more gruesome, which I really appreciate. Because these are seriously awful murders.

jjbadiu2.8We pick up where last episode left off, with Josuke on the phone with Jotaro telling him of his encounter with the Stand. Jotaro says he’ll head to Josuke’s house, but Josuke tells him not to because he hasn’t told his mom about him yet. Also, if she found out who Jotaro was, she would freak out. Because she still loves Joseph. And it makes me wonder if Joseph was with Tomoko for awhile, because before I used to think it was just a one night stand, but the fact that she really loves him makes me think that he was with her for quite awhile. Or maybe Tomoko is just the type of person that falls in love with the first person she sees? I’m not so sure…Anyway, while Tomoko is making breakfast, Jotaro actually tells Josuke not to eat or drink anything in case Angelo’s Stand is there, ready to possess one of them like he did the other man. When Josuke looks over at his mom, he notices the Stand in his mother’s mouth. Not something anyone could do with a straight face, Josuke calmly walks over to her and asks for coffee. While her back is to him, he sends out Crazy Diamond (his Stand, which for some reason wasn’t named yet. Jotaro named it btw.) and punches a hole through his mother’s body while breaking apart a flask, then retracting his arm while healing his mom just fine, and putting together the flask with the Stand trapped inside.

Josuke tells Jotaro of this fact, and Jotaro tells him to stay in his house until he arrives. Tomoko leaves, while Josuke’s grandfather arrives. He enters the house and plays a prank on Josuke, asking why Josuke isn’t at school yet. And, hilarious, Josuke is actually playing the OH, IT’S A BASEBALL!!! game that Jotaro had played against younger D’Arby in Part 3, except on the N64.

jjbadiu2.13Angelo is actually a little thrilled seeing Josuke’s grandfather, because it was actually his grandfather that was one of the cops that had arrested him when he was 12. And he’s ready to take his revenge on him. He knows that Josuke’s grandfather likes a little alcohol before he settles down, so he changed the appearance of the flask. When Josuke wasn’t looking, seeing that Jotaro had arrived, he didn’t notice. Turning around, he sees his grandfather on the floor, bleeding from the eyes and mouth, with the Stand escaping. Jotaro walks in on this scene. But Josuke isn’t worried at first, since he can use Crazy Diamond to heal his grandfather. While he is able to heal the wounds, he’s too late as his grandfather was already dead, and Jotaro could see that while Josuke couldn’t. Even if his Stand can heal wounds, it can’t bring back the dead.

A funeral is held, and days have passed since that day, and Jotaro has been coming to Josuke’s house and bringing water from outside sources. Tomoko actually isn’t there, as she’s away at a relative’s house, so Jotaro is able to go to the house freely. We also learn that even though Crazy Diamond can heal other people’s wounds, such as someone’s broken arm, it can’t heal his own wounds, which is why he still has the scar from where Jotaro punched him. So Crazy Diamond is able to heal, and it can fix things or distort the shape of something, like the furniture he had been taking his anger out on. Also, it has strong punches like Star Platinum.

jjbadiu2.21Jotaro notices footprints outside of the house, knowing Angelo is near but he hasn’t made his move. It then starts to rain, and that’s when Jotaro realizes that the whole time Angelo was waiting for it to rain. His Stand Aqua Necklace moves through liquids, and with it raining, it’s able to move freely now, and it was easily able to enter Josuke’s house. Inside, it turned on all the hot water in the house, while also making holes in the roof to make it leak. Basically, water is everywhere! They’re both freaking out, but Josuke comes up with a plan to bash a hole in his wall to a sealed off room with no water and they jump in. But there was a humidifier making steam, and the Stand took the opportunity to enter Josuke’s mouth through the steam. But Josuke was…prepared. Before, he had destroyed a latex glove and swallowed it, and when putting his Stand’s hand into his mouth, fixed the glove and trapped Aqua Necklace into it, and then he…spit it out. Good thinking Josuke, I totally would have thought the same thing. Swallow a glove, that’s very normal.

So with the glove in hand, he spun it to make Angelo spin out the tree. The two guys went over to him, ready to kick his ass but Jotaro lets Josuke handle it. Josuke didn’t end up killing Angelo, oh no. He gave him the punishment of making him stay in the town where his grandfather protected everyone. So to not lower himself to Angelo’s level with murder, Josuke punches Angelo into the giant rock behind him and fuses him into the rock. And now for some reason the people of the town loved it and made it a Morioh landmark where couples love to gather.

Yare yare daze.

Very bizarre, but to be expected. Next episode has one of my fave characters so I’m excited! 🙂 Was also excited this morning to hear the opening and ending, and the opening surely was unique! It’s even jazzier than Battle Tendency’s opening, and even more colorful. The song is the most different from all the other songs, but I think it does fit. It’s upbeat and fun, and like I said, Part 4 has a more fun environment, so I really did enjoy the opening a lot. Part 4 is also pretty chill, and the ending showed that, which was nice. Doesn’t beat Roundabout, but still wonderful. Also, Josuke looks really good in it. Y-Yare yare…
