Not going to lie, Eruna’s awakening was a little underwhelming. Though again it brings up the topic of her family. The woman that appeared before Eruna looked a lot like her, and she mentioned their family name again. We don’t really know anything about Eruna’s family, just Eruna herself, but it must be that they’re a big deal.

mgk2.5Well, she’s in charge of this battle. She’s only on a trial run with the club, so she gets an extra minute in the shower, and an extra side dish for her meals. Eruna learns in class about the way the battles are going to go, as explained by Maid-chan.  Each person participating in the fight are going to have three crystals floating around them, and it’s simple. Just break all the crystals, and you win. Just think about the battles in Mario Kart, you just have to pop all the balloons. It’s the same thing here. You can punch them, kick them, even bite them, or use your special power to break them all. And this is where most of the episode takes us. Eruna has no idea what special powers are, what she can do to get her powers, and such, so she goes over to Seisa’s mansion to ask some advice as to what she should do, since they’re in the same club, they have to help each other out.

But it doesn’t go the way Eruna wants it to. Kiss those nasty fantasies goodbye.

mgk2.28I’m not too sure what to make of Seisa. She seems like the typical ojou-sama type of character. Rich, beautiful, and always apart from everyone so that makes her a little mysterious too. She seemed kind in the first episode when breaking up the altercation between the hot guy from the art club, and the cutie from the astronomy club. We don’t really know why Seisa would pick Eruna to represent her in the school battle, and why she even chose her in the first place. I don’t know what she wants from her, but it looks like from the visuals of the opening, she and Eruna are going to get closer in the near future. As friends or girlfriends, who knows? But the quiet and serious type of person paired up with the loud energetic one is always a fun pair. Anyway, Seisa basically doesn’t help out Eruna with any advice as to what she should do, but later on she has a little talk with her. Coincidentally enough, Eruna also has a special power which she is able to use without an object, just like Seisa. Maybe this is what she sensed from Eruna when she met her, or she might know about her family name too? After her win against Himi, I hope this’ll make Eruna and Seisa talk more.

Most of the episode is dedicated to Eruna visiting the other clubs, checking them out and hopefully getting some help for her special powers. This mainly showed us the other characters, whether they’ll be important or not. I wanna know more about the art guy……for obvious reasons. Oh man, but the astronomy guy was such a cutie.

His special attack is pretty cool. The other club members seemed like a fun group, so it was nice seeing a little bit of them and their clubs for this episode. I was thinking about what he was saying, about looking up at the stars. He doesn’t know how he awakened his power, but he just talked about how he’s always loved the stars and he’s looked at them since he was a child. So I’m guessing that the club representative’s powers awaken just from the sheer passion they feel for their activity. Astronomy cutie loves stars, his attack has to do with stars. Plant guy loves plants, so he can control plants. Drama guy loves acting so….oh, he uses a scythe. Well, it’s an idea.

Well, I’m expecting more Eruna and Seisa interaction, and I’m curious who the purple-haired girl in the opening is, since she’s the only one we haven’t met yet, and she looks like she’s going to be important. The battle was a little short, but we have an idea how they’re going to be. Himi’s attacks were amazing!
