Jotaro gets turned into a kid for a minute but we don’t even get to see his face, so who cares.

Okay no I’m just kidding. I still wanted to see his lil’ baby face though. That’s all I wanted. I got half of what I wanted…*sigh* Again, this was more of a Polnareff-centered episode. And I told you all I wasn’t crazy when I said he gets a lot of episodes to himself. I should actually go back and count how many episodes are centered around him because this is getting a little tiring. Though I wasn’t so annoyed with him this time.

Anyway, let’s get started. Alessi attacks Polnareff, Polnareff fighting back with little Silver Chariot, but he gets his arm stuck in the wall with the axe. And this is just terrible since little Pol is a kid, but Alessi grabs him by the throat and starts to drown him. Seeing violence against a child is just sick, especially since Alessi takes pleasure in it. Freak…Well, Polnareff takes off the plug but Alessi uses Polnareff’s hair to cover it so the water will drain slower. And…Polnareff poops in the tub. He poops, the poop floats and he kicks it on Alessi’s face, and…

Ew…

He freaks out and lets go and Polnareff gets out. Gross. He looks for the woman that was there with him before, only to find out that she’s turned into a fetus. I’m not fucking joking around here, she’s a fetus. Since she’s made contact with Alessi’s Stand longer, that means she turned younger more. As for Polnareff who only came into contact with the shadow for just a little bit, he turned into a 7-8 year old kid. There’s been some weird shit in this show, and I can make a list of them, but the woman turning into a fetus is up there. Polnareff grabs her and runs off with her, trying to figure out how to beat Alessi before she dies.

This is so crazy.

While he’s running away, Alessi uses his Stand again and Polnareff touches the shadow again, turning him younger. He touches the shadow again, and turns even younger. He’s now 3 years old, so now his situation is worse. Well, he hides in another room and locks the door, trying to find a way out the window except there are bars on the window and he’s trapped. Before Alessi forces his way into the room, Polnareff hides. And the way he hides is pretty smart, with a mirror trick and a fish tank. He managed to stab and cut Alessi’s face up with Chariot and he gets sent flying out the window. And lands in front of Jotaro.

Alessi pretends to act innocent and catches Jotaro off guard when Polnareff yells at him, and sends Set onto him. Jotaro jumps but still made contact with the shadow, so he turns into a kid. And this is bad, because only recently had Jotaro learned how to use Star Platinum. Being turned into a child (7-8 years old), that means he doesn’t have Star Platinum. Alessi thinks he’s won, but

I guess Jotaro was a really fucking tough kid, because he beats the shit out of Alessi. He doesn’t have Star Platinum, but he punches exactly like him and even does the “ORAORAORAORA” in his kid voice and it was so cute and badass. But we didn’t get to see his cute baby face. So that made me disappointed and sad. Alessi loses consciousness and when he wakes up, sees both regular Polnareff and Jotaro standing before him, getting beaten away by Chariot and Star Platinum. And he retires.

Our boys turn back to normal, and so does our lady friend. She’s in her house and awakens, vividly remembering that Polnareff had been protecting her when her body was still (when she was a fetus). She heads out to look for him and asks Polnareff who’s just outside, but she doesn’t recognize him at first. Though she slowly starts to, recognizing the earring that he dropped before. But not wanting to bother this woman, he pretends like they never met, and leaves. This was probably the most mature I’ve ever seen Polnareff. He commented on the woman’s kindness plenty of times, and blushed when seeing her safe. He probably was falling for her, but did the right thing by pretending nothing happened. She probably wouldn’t believe the story anyway, and it was better to act like nothing happened. Good job, Pol. Too bad, he looked kinda hurt in the end.

Well, the boys regroup and find something to eat. Joseph uses Hermit Purple to take a spirit photo and they have a clear picture of what building Dio is hiding in. Finally!

A very…entertaining episode. Alessi was seriously a creep though. Turning people into kids and enjoying torturing and killing them. Yeah, it was disturbing. And I’m still upset we didn’t see little Jotaro’s face, though was surprised how strong he was? Being a kid, he should be pretty weak, but he packed one hell of a punch to be able to knock a grown man out. In the very first episode of Stardust Crusaders, we saw little flashbacks of Jotaro when Holly was visiting him when he was in jail, and he looked so sweet. So I would think his physical strength would also weaken, so that would mean Jotaro was a tough kid? Even though he looked sweet. And another thing I hope they talk about, is Jotaro’s changed personality. Again, in the flashbacks he was smiling and kind, but now he’s stoic. He’s still kind, but he looks intimidating. I just wish we could see into his life more and find out why he changed because I’m very curious.

More I want to see too? Iggy fighting. They called Iggy over because they needed help and so far he hasn’t done anything except use The Fool once. And get thrown. And be a terrible ally. Also, where in the world is Kakyoin? I’m missing him. Ah, I’m just rambling. Next week, we deal with a rather handsome gentleman, who is the next Stand user. We have three more to go, and I really want them to find Dio fast, though I can just read ahead in the manga.
