Ano Natsu de Matteru Ep 11: CUE TO THE ACTION!

Ichika’s sister explains to her that they have to return to their planet because things will end up messy if they search party gets here before then. Ichika finds herself conflicted and eventually accepts, but Kanna, Mio and Tetsurou interfere and tells her they’ll do whatever it takes to keep her here on Earth. Remon then appears and reveals that she has a strategy that might help them.

TETSUROU, I’M SO FUCKING HAPPY! I’M SO HAPPY YOU ACCEPTED HER CONFESSION AND ASKED HER ON A DATE AND ALKSDJALKSJDALSKJDSALKJDALSKJD!!!!

I can’t even put this into words, this episode was just perfect! I couldn’t contain myself, I was so excited, so pumped up, the action was brilliant and fun! Then we had all these movie-like corny scenes but it was PERFECT! I couldn’t get over how awesome our beloved characters were and accepting the idea of Ordinary Earthlings VS the Universe, and were EXCITED about it!

Best of all, the reason why Ichika had decided to come to Earth in the first place actually managed to play a key role. It wasn’t just an excuse, or a simple reason: it’s a MAJOR plot device.
I think what made this even more awesome, is that Ichika’s sister wasn’t evil or anything or was trying to forcefully have Ichika return. Instead she helped them out, she didn’t say no to Kaito right off the bat when he asked her if they can take him with them.
I feel bad for Kanna, she’s a third wheel in everything. She’s the only one in the group (besides Remon who appears to be far more intrigued with filming than getting into an relationship) who is a loner. She goes out to be the decoy alone, she stands afar from Tetsurou and Mio- gosh I pity the girl!!!
The role Remon embraced this episode was the most wicked thing ever. She drives like a pro stuntman, she negotiated with Ichika’s sister and received the materials and has some wicked weapons (punching device installed on the vehicle)- I swear to god, by the end of this, if it’s revealed she’s actually an Alien or works with the federation or has some sort of connection with supernatural secret organizations or whatever- I won’t be surprised one bit.
Finally, am I the only one here who is sensing a Toradora ending after seeing the preview? ;A;
