Ririchiyo grows concerned about Karuta’s status at school as she doesn’t exactly have a great reputation from her mysterious actions and looks as if she’s in her own world. Ririchiyo comes to learn and understand Karuta even more who already treats her as a close companion.

>w<//// KYAAA! OH MY GOSH THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD EPISODE! IT WAS FUNNY, ADORABLE, HAD ACTION, YES THIS IS DEFINITELY MY FAVOURITE EPISODE YET!
Karuta is so sweet. I love this girl, her huge appetite, and talented cooking skills! I would’ve been scratching my heading confusion if she weren’t good at making meals since she LOVES food and is always hungry.
Her ED was absolutely ADORABLE and uff! Cuteness overload!!!
I absolutely LOVED seeing action and a threat for an exchange- especially since Soushi rarely had any screentime and he didn’t pop out of no where to save her from that hit. I’m really happy to see that it focused so well on the relationship growth between the three of them.
It was definitely interesting to hear more about how the bloodline works and the ancestors who mixed their bloods. It appears that they are technically the ancestor’s reincarnation in which they are called ‘Throwbacks’ as they have been born on the exact same day, time and inherit the same personality traits and so on. And one of the reasons why Ririchiyo wasn’t given the love and attention from her family is because they’ve completed their role to womb her- which is pretty depressing. What a cycle.

It appears that even if it’s not after sunset, as long as its dark enough- yokai will appear. I’m crossing my fingers that the preview isn’t trolling us into thinking that there will be quite a bit of action. I’m quite amused at focus of Karuta and the refrigerator, but anyhow I’m- for once, is absolutely looking forward to the next episode.
