Things are not looking good for anyone in this situation. Not only did the Cleaners get dragged into this mess, but then they all get separated to have a one-on-one with each of the Raiders who probably have paired each of them with their disadvantage. While we haven’t seen what Enjin and the Santas have to deal with, they probably aren’t in for a fun time considering what Zanka and Riyo are having to deal with.

I am legit worried for Zanka. I don’t think we’ve witnessed him get a true win in yet when it mattered most. Sure he’s beaten trash monsters, but most if not all the Giver Cleaners can do so. Granted, I feel like he hasn’t really been given that many opportunities to show his full potential. Not to mention that he was ambushed by Jabber on their first meeting, so we didn’t really get to see what he was truly capable of at that time. But that doesn’t make me feel any less stressed about his current situation. Especially considering Jabber is an unpredictable freak. I did appreciate that when Jabber appeared, Zanka immediately went on the attack because last time he was taken out immediately because he let his guard down. But this time he’s ready and I’m really hoping he’s able to hold his own against him this time. Though things seem to be looking not great by the end of it with Jabber having powered up, leaving a rather terrified looking Zanka. I want to believe in the guy, but considering he just looks horrified despite Jabber telling him he should power up too, I don’t have much hope. Unless he can prove me wrong, I don’t think Zanka is getting out of this fight in one piece. Even if I do want him to put the smackdown on Jabber because the guy annoys the CRAP out of me.

Another character I’m feeling a bit worried for is Riyo. So far, she has only exuded a way too lax attitude towards everything. The only time we’ve actually seen her down was after Amo forced her to relieve memories of her loved one…. and then again when she sees a freaking cockroach. Like gurl, there is a time and place to be acting a little silly… NOW IS NOT THE TIME. Especially when faced with a dangerous Raider in the room who most likely wants you dead. While on first glance, it seemed like Riyo would have the advantage considering she’d be fighting against hair. However, I figured it wouldn’t be THAT easy and just as expected, Riyo ended up being at the disadvantage. But man, the power system in this world is actually so interesting, especially with how they utilize different items. The fact that a plastic comb can create static by using it to brush someone’s hair and they use that information to create lightning hair, that’s cool as heck. Riyo is strong, but she’s essentially up against her weakness and she’s gonna have to get pretty creative if she wants to defeat her or if she even can. She’s using a pair of metal scissors, which is essentially a prime target to conduct electricity.

At this rate, the one to turn the tides against the disadvantages could possibly be kaiju girl since she’s the only one who ended up without an opponent. She could be the wildcard in the situation and be the one to assist a losing battle considering we do not know what she is capable of. I can only assume she is at least capable to an extent since she is part of a team of the Cleaners. It’s a high possibility that she could be a support of some kind since the Santas probably are the attackers in the group. For all I know her freaking onesie could turn into armor or be a boost of some kind to her physical capabilities. At least, I hope she’ll come into play and not be just a gag by being the only one who isn’t doing anything.

And then we have Rudo who is probably in the least amount of physical danger… for the moment. It seems like the leader just wants to have a conversation with him for now and I like how it near parallels the Amo situation initially. He essentially has to use what he learned from Amo’s arc. If he wants information, he sometimes has to go along with what the other person wants in the conversation no matter how off putting and odd it is. I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to see the similarities as the series even addressed it. And while it is a different situation where in Amo’s case, Rudo came to her for the information, but here, Rudo was confronted. However, there is still a chance for Rudo to be able to get information out of him. Especially since Zodyl dropped the bomb on him telling him he also wants to take down the Sphere.

That bit of information definitely connects him and Rudo as two sides of the same coin. Both of them want to take revenge on the Sphere. While we don’t know Zodyl’s reasons for doing so, considering the state of their world because of the Sphere, it’s hard to fault anyone for wanting the Sphere gone. However, while the two have a similar goal at the moment, I don’t think the destruction of the Sphere is what Rudo NEEDS. Especially since it feels like the series wants to discourage Rudo’s want for vengeance and violence. And I don’t like the fact that Zodyle is trying to dissuade Rudo from staying with the Cleaners. He is right that the Cleaner’s ultimate mission isn’t to get to the Sphere and it would take longer for Rudo to meet his goal if he were to stay with them. And it would TECHNICALLY be better for Rudo to join Zodyl if he wants a more straightfoward pathing to complete that goal. However, I feel like revenge isn’t what Rudo truly needs and that being with the Cleaners has given him something more valuable: A place to belong. So yes, what Zodyl is saying true. But it completely wrong about what is actually best for Rudo himself. Which rubs me the wrong way because Zodyl wants to take Rudo away from that. I’m rooting for Rudo’s happiness and I doubt that taking revenge on everyone that wronged him will make Rudo feel happy in the end.

I’m very interested to see how these fights turn out especially since it seems like everyone is at a disadvantage. Though it is funny how while Enjin is being a little bit annoying, I also don’t blame him for not wanting to go over to where his opponent is. Like, I ain’t going over there to possibly get ambushed. I also hope that Rudo will ultimately decide to remain with the Cleaners and turn his back on Zodyl’s way of wanting to do things.
