High School DxD episode 9: Training Time
This episode was not as funny as the previous one, not as ecchi as the previous one, but the story progression was there and that is what is important…right?

Take-Nii comes over to give some clothes to Atshushi, and ends up talking about how terrible his life is now that he has lost his girlfriend. He then mentions the idea of getting a job and starts finding small, worhtless part-time jobs. (more…)
This episode begins the adaptation of the social links outside the main cast, as we see this episode that Yu must join the basketball team and help a lovestruck overbearing girl by pretending to be her boyfriend to boost her ego.
Okay guys this episode has traumatized me, made me cry, and I wish it didn’t exist. I’m reviewing it before going back from 12 on because I literally just watched it and seeing this again or having to review it in any way after getting my mind off of it will hurt me emotionally.
Incidentally, this episode contains rape. If that offends you steer clear.
This whole episode is centered around Yuki training and his dad coming into the picture. Pro tip. His dad sucks more than he does.
This episode Yuki is still useless, and we begin the count down of how long until Yuki bitchcries and gives into Yuno…again!
