To Your Eternity Season 2 – Episode 20 [Final Impressions]
I thought this was going to be a happy, slice of life style episode with everyone living out their post war lives together. But instead, I am forced to remember our human mortality.

I thought this was going to be a happy, slice of life style episode with everyone living out their post war lives together. But instead, I am forced to remember our human mortality.
While not as intense as previous episodes, this one made me quite emotional!
I am not okay. No one is okay. We made it here, but at what cost?
Kahaku. Kahaku, Kahaku, Kahaku. What more is there to say? Actually, there's a whole lot to unpack here.
I missed Kai, Hairo, and Messar, but I did not need to watch them die over and over again for the purpose of this war! I'm glad that they get to be Fushi's immortal warriors, but hoo... there's a whole lot to unpack here, but I'd rather just leave that bag zipped.
I take back everything that I've said. Give me back the slice-of-life silly moments of To Your Eternity.
Pocoa paints the town, the man in black gets stabbed, and an old friend opens their eyes again. There is just /so/ much happening.
This episode can pretty much be split into two parts: Eko!! Eko!! Look at her go!! and Fushi's identity is finally revealed to the people of Renril. And truthfully, it…
Sometimes I just want to shake Fushi by the shoulders and tell him not to try to do everything by himself. It's okay to let people help you!! It's okay to let humans make their own decisions. Will they be bad decisions? Probably! But not allowing them that autonomy is probably worse than whatever outcome they will have for themselves!
The preparations for the attack on Renril continue, but Fushi isn't all too thrilled about the developments.
We’ve entered into another Fushi training arc, but rather than making another ship, Fushi has made an entire forest. But it’s okay, sometimes I make that same mistake too.
Welp, the Nokkers succeeded in their attack against the Church of Bennett and the city we had just escaped from. Even though it was technically a victory for Fushi, we've lost some valuable comrades in the crossfire.
