Hi everyone my name is Eva, the team leader and founder of AngryAnimeBitches Anime Blog! It is actually crazy how it’s has already been a decade since I first launched this site. Back then I had thought I would only be blogging for seven years, and yet it’s been 10 years and I’m still loving it!
I have been watching anime since 2006, a lot has changed since I first started blogging about anime, AngryAnimeBitches was in-fact the third time effort of creating an Anime Blog after my previous two (unsuccessful) attempts (Wonderland of Anime Blog Spot, and Hateshigani Yume), and blogging on and off at livejournal on my own between them.
Blogging has really changed my life in such a profound way, that you could say I am addicted to it! Back in the day I used to be able to pick up 6 – 8 shows on average per season, but now I typically cover around an average of 3 – 4 (which usually includes carry-overs). I am pretty open to many genres, but I usually gravitate more towards Romance, Magic, Mecha, Sports and more relatable slice of life series.
My style is to dig into the depth of the story, characters, and enjoy speculating of how things may play out, or what to come. I also tend to be a shipper, and I will gush about it even at times I know there’s not a chance in hell it’s going to play out! As long as I am enjoying the show, I am pretty open to covering series that last all year round or longer, so I am usually the one who ends up covering the long-haul titles like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Precure!
I hope we can all have fun enjoying the series together!

Hey, my name is Berry. I’ve been watching anime for as long as I can remember and always found myself drawn to it. If you asked me why I loved watching anime as a kid, I wouldn’t even be able to give you an answer. I can most certainly give you an answer now, though. There are so many stories that can be told through anime and I’m always surprised to see what kinds of stories come out (good or bad). I watched whatever anime was on TV as a kid, but I didn’t become serious about it until I was about 12. Now, I enjoy writing and talking about anime. When it comes to blogging and anime, I will watch whatever catches my interest and love most genres. Action, Adventure, Horror, Shonen, Shoujo, Romance, Sports, Music, Magical Girl, you name it! Genres I’m not into are Harems, Mecha, and Sci-fi for the most part. But if something is really good, convince me enough and I’ll check it out. I tend to ramble and really lay out my thoughts in my writing, and I love speculating and theorizing so I hope you look forward to that from me!

Hey all, Shadow here! I’m fairly new here to AAB so please excuse my awkwardness of being a newbie. I’ve been a major anime fan for almost 16 years now and still going strong. While I’m pretty passive and quiet most of the time, I can get pretty passionate and emotional when it comes to anime… ESPECIALLY when it comes to shipping and characters I love. I’ve come to like an array of different genres from Action/Adventure to Comedy and Romance. Though I do tend to favor Adventure and Fantasy series. Anime that tend to jump out at me are ones that make me think and have really good character and story writing. But also love ones that make me bust out laughing out loud. As someone who has studied Animation in college, I tend to look very deeply into the animation and story-telling. Though I can overlook wonky animation (sometimes) if the story is good and the characters are written well.

Hello, hello! It’s nice to meet you all! I’m Quietcupcake and I hope that we can all get a long. Despite being told that I would eventually grow out of it someday, anime has always been a passion of mine. Like many people I know, I was introduced to Japanese animation through Pokémon and Studio Ghibli (namely Kiki’s Delivery Service) from a young age. However, I didn’t fully jump into anime until Middle School when I started watching Naruto on Toonami and was also introduced to Fruits Basket. From there my life changed forever and I have not stopped talking about anime since. I’m a big fan of discussing anime in the academic setting because of the many different themes that can be presented in each series. Any time a professor said I got to choose the topic you better believe I was writing about anime. Additionally, I’m also a band nerd at heart! I play in multiple different ensembles with many different instruments! So, I really enjoy looking at the impact of soundtracks and how they help drive the anime! As far as genres I don’t know if I really have favorites… But I will love anything that will make me cry!

Hello! I’ve been following AAB for a couple of years now and am really excited to be part of the team. I’ve been watching anime for almost two decades; the first anime I ever watched was a copy of My Neighbour Totoro that my mom recorded onto a VHS in the mid-90s (so no subtitles). Since then I’ve been to Japan twice and hope to one day actually learn Japanese properly so I can return on my own. I’m a big fan of many romance anime and I’m a sucker for happy endings; bittersweet endings make my heart ache. Because of my background in social work and my intense fascination with psychology, I have a tendency to analyze characters and their relationships. At heart though, I’m just a huge fangirl. (Ready, set, SHIP!)

Hello, there. I’m Kazanova. I love writing anything related to anime, manga, game, etc. I never misses a single day without thinking about them all. I don’t have specific genre that I like, as long as it’s interesting to watch, I’ll love it. Mostly though, the ones I love have the mix of action-packed and romance or drama. BUT, I’ll admit I don’t like/hate anything gory, nsfw, hentai, ecchi, horror, so please refrain from speaking such subjects with me. I’ve read many reviews, coverages, and discussions, but AAB is the one that spurned my desire to start blogging. I’ll do my upmost best to write an engaging posts in AAB!
