Who else is grinning like a fool? AHHH THESE TWO ARE SO FREAKING CUTE!

Rintaro wanted to give something in return to Kaoruko for helping him out with his studies, so he had asked if she wanted anything. Of course what Kaoruko wanted the most was a chance the two of them could do an outing (AKA: DATE) together! And it was so freaking cute and pure~! Rintaro is just happy to see Kaoruko be excited and enjoy herself, so he didn’t mind just doing the things she was interested in for the day. It was also an absolute joy to see Rintaro finally feeling secure enough to relax and just be true to himself, which allows him to smile a lot more of the late. Best of all, he has become even more conscious of his ever-growing feelings, and finally with the help a lost child named Mika, Rintaro was able to come to terms that he has fallen in love with Kaoruko! Thanks Mika for sharing your love about Daichi!

We also need to thank her for telling Rintaro that he and Kaoruko make a great couple! The kid got good eyes! But I digress haha!

Falling in love has never been something Rintaro ever imagined himself doing. Though one shouldn’t be really surprised by that considering he simply couldn’t fathom how such a thing was possible with the way people look at him for the longest time. Heck it wasn’t until recently, even the idea of having true friends wasn’t something he could say he was certain about, but one he held his breath while keeping himself hidden behind his walls as he cautiously cherished what he had with Saku, Shohei and Ayato. So it was a lovely thing to see him come to terms with that, and realizing oh wow, it’s actually happening.

Better yet, we’re finally seeing Rintaro have the courage to more honestly express his innermost feelings. Such was the case when Rintaro didn’t want the day to end, so he suggested they stay a bit longer for the night dolphin show, as they had missed the one they had planned to see in the afternoon. This is a huge step in the right direction for him!

Of course as for Kaoruko, we already know she’s head over heels for him, but it was so endearing to see her just be happy spending time with him and wanting to hear about how the sports festival went. It’s the little things like that of showing such interest in another that one shows how much they care about them. Kaoruko wants to get him to know him as much as she can, and the more she does, the more she falls for him. It was also very precious how their first picture together is her treasure!

Lastly, following up with the rest of the group from last week’s episode, we did see Rintaro and Kaoruko bring their parties together. Subaru finally got the chance to not only thank the boys, but also apologize for what she had said. Shohei made it easy for her though, as it has been a month since the library confrontation, so he honestly didn’t remember the rude things she had said and told her not to sweat it. Saku did however– and to his credit, seeing that Subaru was still hesitant and worried about it, also gave her an overdue apology for the rude things he had said about her hair. It’s super important and great that they were able to quickly finish with their apologies and start things fresh and anew– this time, on the right foot! And it certainly helps that Shohei is the sort who is practically a natural when it comes to breaking the ice. He and Kaoruko were able to kick things off seamlessly and naturally invited Subaru into their fold to chat some more. It goes without saying, the boys will definitely be contribute to helping Subaru overcome her trauma, and help her on the path of healing. Either way, I’m quite looking forward to this newly merged group!

Extra Note: I’m going to be quite busy next weekend, so Ep 9 entry might not be out till Monday! But if I decide it’s best to consider doing it as a double-post, I’ll leave an update here! Until then~!

Notice: The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity Ep 9 Review will either be a double-post or be released sometime before the weekend. This will depend on how I’m feeling since I’m sick at the moment. If my condition doesn’t improve by the weekend, I’ll have to wait to do a triple post.
