Hello Chifuyu, it’s nice to officially meet you. It’s nice to see that we have you as an ally, or at least I hope that’s where we’ll go. But I mean, any enemy of Kisaki is a friend to us at this point. Kisaki is a dangerous fellow and the more I learn about him, the more afraid I become. But on that note, with all the developments that occurred in this episode, I’m getting incredibly stressed out about Bloody Halloween.

This episode was a ride from beginning to end, but not in the way that there were lots of highs and lows or a great big fight, but I was consistently thrown into the situation of “Wait, Kisaki was involved with that??” Like I know that he’s a threat, but I didn’t really, he was involved that early in the beginning. I thought, at worst he might have been in another gang that was causing problems for Toman, but not at that level. He’s sneaky and conniving and I certainly wouldn’t want to cross paths with him. And based on everything we know, those who have interacted with Kisaki definitely wouldn’t wish that on their worst enemies. And to think, he used to be a dull nerd type character! I suppose that does put him up above all of those who just want to fight and be on top all the time. Kisaki, you are a force to be reckoned with.

But I think the biggest “oh snap” moment for me was actually the end of the episode. They really left us with quite the cliffhanger… well is it a cliff hanger if it’s technically referencing the past? But after visiting Draken in prison, we find out that Mikey was the leader of Valhalla and that phrase alone is a something to make us all stressed. Especially after Chifuyu spent so much of the episode talking about how Kisaki was probably the leader. And I know that Draken clears it up, but I’m still pretty convinced that Kisaki is pulling the strings right now. If his ultimate goal is to get close to Mikey, manipulating the other gang might just be the way to go. But the ending of Mikey and Kazutora was something I was absolutely not expecting. I mean, I think Mikey is totally within his right to not forgive Kazutora for killing his brother. But I would be very interesting to see how the standoff between Mikey and Kazutora played out on the day of the battle.

And with all this new information, I’m really getting worried. Will Takemitchy actually be able to bring Baji back to Toman? Even if he does, I don’t think Mikey will be so forgiving. I mean, Baji is someone who Mikey probably still cares for even if the wounds are deep. But to then choose the side of the kid who killed your brother… oh Baji if Takemitchy succeeds I hope he spares you. But in all honesty, a week is going to be rough to bring Baji back. I’m still hoping for a little more story as to why Baji sided with Kazutora rather than Mikey, but at this point I don’t know if I’d want to get in Kazutora’s way. But on that note… something very convenient has happened to Takemitchy: Chifuyu was very quick to team up with him and if anyone knows Baji it would be him. So, at least we have that bit of support (though, Chifuyu did get the absolute snot beaten out of him by Baji….. ah well, we’ll just have to wait and see!)

As always, I’m anxious for the next episode to come. They just keep on giving us new information and more things to be on edge about. Things are heating up…. hopefully we’ll survive another standoff without losing anyone… but considering the stakes this time around… I don’t know if we’ll be so lucky. Good luck Takemitchy! I’m glad it’s you who has to figure everything out and not me!!
