Here is my entire summary of Episode 15: Rimuru is the best leader in the universe and became the leader of the Jura Forest Alliance just because he’s great. “Hey let’s all work together and have an alliance!” Everyone: “Absolutely also you’re the leader!” We all knew it was going to happen, but he accidentally weedled his way into the position of leader against his own desires. But really, would he be quite the same person if he actively wanted the role? And true to his words, he absolves the Orcs of their leader’s crimes and gives the Orc Disaster’s son his fathers name. All is well that ends well, right?

Okay, so the king of the dwarves shows up and proves that he’s amazing too. He fights Rimuru and instead of going full ham sandwich evil he asks for an alliance and makes me happy. Ugh, I loved this King since he first appeared so it’s nice to see he’s not suddenly a dick. He gave me a fright with all that ‘Oh he’s got a dragon in him’ business before. Good to know that almost everyone in the series thus far is a good bean! He even shows up in Episode 16 and throws Vesta at Rimuru to repent. I love it.

Of course with Episode 16 are great new elements. Vesta joins but so does Gabiru, the disowned and exiled Lizardman. I freakin knew this guy would be back but he also gets named, completely on accident. His sister gets named and becomes, of course, a cute anime girl with a snaggletooth. That’s how monster naming works here, fam. Only cute girls allowed! But that’s fine, now she’s serving Souei and I kind of ship it? Meanwhile Gabiru just turned purple. Lawl.

Of course real trouble comes then with the arrival of the Demon Lord, Milim. At first, I was worried I had picked a bad set of episodes to make a double post, but then I saw this episode. Gosh, this show really does convince me bad things will happen only for hilarious results to occur. Milim, a Demon Lord, shows up to introduce herself to Rimuru. But she actually doesn’t want to fight at all, it’s only when Rimuru’s people attack her that she fights. She’s actually so powerful even Rimuru couldn’t hope to defeat her…so he feeds her honey and convinces her to call it a draw. And then she decides..

Look I can’t make this up. Only Slime Isekai could make a plot element where Rimuru feeds a loli fighter capable of destroying him honey and she decides she wants to move there and become his bestie. I am not lying to you: this is the actual plot of the episode. Milim begins fighting everyone until woops, Rimuru tempts her with honey and she admits she’s bored and wants to stick around. In two episode Rimuru convinced a forest of Orcs, Ogres, Dryads, Lizardmen and Dryads to all join forces …and then he got a being at least ten times more powerful than him to declare him their bestie and be on his side.

This slime should be our President.
