YO AKIRA IS SAVING EVERYONE’S ASSES TODAY!!!!!!!! FOR REAL! I wasn’t expecting that, but since Akira is already one of my biases, this pleases me. But seriously, don’t you dare die here man! You have been doing so well up to this point! YOU NEED TO GO THE MOVIES WITH TSUMUGI, DON’T FORGET THAT!!!!!
Since Akira was able to find Tsumugi first, she was able to able to escape and ended up seeking temporary shelter until Shouko suggested to her to take the elevator, (that was the worst possible thing to suggest to her!!!). It looks like Tsumugi made it out okay though, only because Takashi was a hurry to get to the harbour.
BUT CAN WE GIVE PROPS TO TSUMUGI FOR NOT BEING A DOORMAT?! GIRL IS NOT GOING TO JUST STAND THERE EAND LET THAT HAPPEN, SHE SHOVED HIM AWAY, SHE BIT HIM AND SHE EVEN TOOK OUT A KNIFE (ALBEIT NOT AT HIM, BUT I KINDA WISHED SHE DID— NOT THAT IT WOULD HELP MUCH SHE NEVER HAD TO USE IT BEFORE BUT IT’S BETTER THAN NOTHING).
It was a fun episode to watch, one where I unexpectedly ended up laughing and cheering more than I thought I would. Now don’t get me wrong, the episodes wasn’t bad, it was entertaining from start to finish—although, it would also be fair to say it did leave a bit more to be desired, but it honestly didn’t bother me that much.
The scene that brought out the tears of laughter, was when, Hayato ruined his “cool” image in the best way possible. But then again, he never struck me as a “cool” guy, but always struck me as the cute type who aspires to be cool. It was absolutely hysterical when he punched that body-guard, but the man was so buff his punch only tickled him, and yet instead of jumping back to reassess how to proceed, he keeps trying! Oh Hayato… It was Akira who had to swing in and knock the guy unconscious from behind. More enemies came, and unfortunately for Hayato, they did this amusing substitution of the fight with Kuina and that doll (or whatever) “cleaning up” the shop. At least he got to redeem himself shortly after that!
Amazingly, this episode revealed a lot of secrets, or should I say, spoilers in regards to the plots of every route up to Hayato’s. It is a bit of a shame that we were spoiled, especially when I would have loved to play the game blind once it is possible for me to do so. Regardless, it doesn’t dissuade me from wanting to to play. And one of the things that immediately stuck out to me was how it each of the three villains are matched up with two of the boys. Shizuru, and Shougo were tied to Sasagoi, Hisui and Rui are tied to Mozuyama and Akira and Hayato are tied to Takashi. It is a clever way to go about it, but I can also see why this may have caused some problems in terms of lack of consistency among the routes.
Shizuru, and Shougo can’t fight, so they had a different role to play by confronting Sasagoi. It was a scene I had a hard time taking seriously because I was too busy laughing at ended up with Shougo earnestly telling Sasagoi that he is a fan of his books, and even though one of them almost killed him (literally), the story was so sad yet so good. The reason why I found it so amusing was because it reminded me of Utapri’s stupid confessions of, “I… love your music”, which was what Shougo did, but in a more heartfelt way. You have to hand it to Shougo though, for not resenting Sasagoi for having created the cursed tomes. To be able to forgive someone he is a fan of takes some incredible strength, considering what had happened to him. I don’t know if that was enough to save Sasagoi and make him repent for his crimes, but it would be nice if it did because his words definitely reached him since the guy started crying.
We discovered what happened to Hisui’s mother after she disappeared. It turns out she offered herself to Mozuyama as a labrat in order from him not to leave Hisui alone. In the end, it ended up killing her. She is the only reason Hisui almost and didn’t kill the man, which resulted him getting shot in the arm. Now we will learn how Rui and Mozuyama are connected in next week’s episode. I imagine Rui’s mother also suffered at his hands.
But the biggest plot-twist was the fact Akira is half-brothers with Takashi. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?! His mother was assaulted by Takashi’s father, and presumingly killed, which is related to why he can’t bear the sight of blood. Akira was also the one to have damaged Takashi’s eye, and revealed he used to think that it didn’t matter if he lived or died, but now he has a reason to protect he. *SOBS* You know what, if Akira ends up being chosen to be the one who Tsumugi ends up with, how symbolic would his line be about not being the chosen one. Oh man, that would make me emotional.
BUT SERIOUSLY: PROTECT AKIRA!!!!!! DON’T YOU DARE KILL HIM OFF!!!!!!!! I WILL BE LIVID IF THEY DO WHEN HAYATO IS THERE WHEN HE SHOULD BE GIVING HIM A HAND DAMNIT!!!!!!
Oh and apparently Shouko has a child.. who is around Tsumugi’s age (which makes Takashi’s advances on her, all the more creepy). I think I have an inkling who it might be, since I have seen a combination of the game’s CG images and fanart around the web. I never thought the two would have a connection, except for the fact I did suspect he was related to Takashi in some way.
Two more episodes!!! One has to wonder what will happen within the next two episodes since it looks like we have more or less reached the climax of the fight. Maybe episode 12 will just be an epilogue sort of episode? We will have to see!
On your guess about Shouko’s child and who their father is, I’ll say you can expect another big plot twist to look forward to next week.
There is still 1 more mystery to look forward to – who created the fire books and the fire letter.
True true!!!! I did forget about the culprit behind the fire books and letters!
(((o(゚▽゚)o))) BRING IN MORE PLOT-TWISTS!!!!!!!
