Show By Rock!! Short!! Episodes 9+10

Episode 9

I can’t believe Shuzo has his own dance show. And that’s literally all this episode is about. Kai and Riku are practicing the dance move Shuzo is about to show on television, the box step, which really is one of the most basic steps you can do in dance. Riku…or Kai…I always forget who is who, messes up and he doesn’t feel so confident but then Shuzo comes in all sunshine and rainbows and encourages him. Then they go on TV and dance and the twins are fascinated by how cool Shuzo is.

I was pretty much like Rom and wanted to stop the program because wow was it annoying and cheesy. Also, I love this running gag of Rom getting quickly irritated whenever he sees Rom anywhere. I’m actually starting to understand him…

Episode 10

And here I thought Tsurezure’s segment on Tokiko’s show would be the most normal.

As I imagined, the women of Tsurezure are serious and composed, but Tokiko finds the large Daruma doll to be hilarious. Also I love how she pointed out that it was somehow floating. We cut to a quick commercial of a soup by Tsurezure, fancy and traditional. As per usual, Tokiko asks the band to introduce themselves but then she bursts into laughter because she thinks it’s weird and funny how they look but then Darudayu busts out of the doll and shows who she really is. She gives kind words to Tokiko and Tokiko reacts as if she’s looking at a Goddess…and I agree.

And that’s where that ends. Again, not much to say. This series is almost done, and my coverage for this short will conclude in two weeks, where I will do my reviews for the two last episodes and the short in general. I hope before this finishes, at least one of the two last episodes will be about Plasmagica because we haven’t seen them since the first episode. I need more Cyan and Moa, pyuru!
