This episode of Bananya seemed very scary for a moment, as the focus is a stray cat that Bananya wants to play with. You see, the aura of this cat is terrifying. It looks at Bananya as if it wants to eat him, and I am scared because that essentially means Bananya is like a helpless kitten who lives in a banana peel. The world is cruel to banana peel kittens, but we cannot allow it to be so. I wanted to spray the stray kitten with water but thankfully Bananya cannot reach it. Part of me wonders if the Bananya can hear the narrator at all, because he wasn’t speaking and Bananya simply went into perilous behaviors. Honestly though, they always do it, so I’m fairly sure they can’t hear him. Still, it was making me dread Bananya opening that window and the narrator wasn’t there to comfort me.
Once Bananya fails to open the window he simply closes it and goes to sleep. It is adorable, and does not give me a heart attack as the stray cat does. The narrator wakes up and finds Bananya sleeping, and we finally learn more about long haired Bananya. He is vain. But you know what? Despite his incredibly shallow concept he is still a freakin cat in a banana peel and I just can’t bring myself to hate that. Honestly though, as long as we don’t see the stray cat again I am happy.
