Bananya Episode 4 [Mouse!]

Oh my goodness, this episode was absolutely adorable. I never really thought too much on the semantics of Bananya but thinking on it they literally say ‘the cat who lives in a banana’ but even the older Bananya is pretty small, so is it a special breed of banana hybrids? I ask because today they focused on the instincts of the bananya’s and how Bananya befriended a mouse. At first he looked as if he would attack the mouse, but then the mouse offered him a cookie and they became friends. Seriously, the entire scene after is snapshots of him and the Mouse enjoying food together. I don’t like mice very much but they drew it so cute in this episode I can’t help but love him!

But that being said, Tabby sees the Mouse while he is lounging with Bananya and immediately attacks him. Rather than defend the mouse Bananya’s instincts kick in and he runs after the mouse too. The poor thing makes a cute face and the episode ends, but I can’t blame any of them. Tabby gets his just reward anyway when he gives Bananayako a cookie and she immediately gives it to Long Haired Cat because she has a crush on him. Man Tabby, your life is really rough. Still, the poor mouse.

Ugh, I wish I wasn’t five years old. I wish I could say ‘man this show is super boring and stupid who would watch this’ but I really can’t. If you like cute things watch this. If you like cats watch this. If you are me and an adult who pays bills and is secretly a 5 year old in a grown up person suit then watch this show. Watch it and love all of the bananacats!
