Sides clash as opinions differ over Nagisa’s proposition. Over hearing of wanting to save Koro-sensei’s life, some students step up and say they agree with Nagisa and are all for it. But then Nakamura speaks up and says the opposite, and wants to kill him instead. And, funnily enough they stayed under the shadows of the trees, there were others that did not see Nagisa’s plan as good at all, and also want to kill Koro-sensei, and they brought up good points. Such as, how? How in the world are they going to save him? And if they even find a way, are they going to find it in time? Or are they ever going to find it at all? If they don’t, that just means everyone’s death. It’s actually very risky, and I totally understand. I also understand those that want to save Koro-sensei’s life because they really love him and want him to live. I understand both sides, and just like Ritsu, I’m going to be neutral on this issue.
Karma is on the side of killing Koro-sensei, and he actually becomes very angry towards Nagisa for thinking everyone would just follow along with his plan. He thinks just choosing to save Koro-sensei undermines the less talented students that wanted to kill him, to those that tried really hard on their assassination skills. Nagisa meant no harm and puts himself down instead, which just pisses off Karma even more. Nagisa gives Karma a glare and yells that he’s not half-assed about his plan, which just pushes Karma to his breaking point and actually start a fight with Nagisa.
Koro-sensei overhearing this flies in and interrupts, telling everyone that in this classroom, there is only one way to come to a decision: a capture the flag paintball battle. Koro-sensei respects both wishes and doesn’t show any opposition to either. He just doesn’t want discord in his classroom. So with everyone stating their opinions and picking either the red or blue side, they each gather into their own teams.
I won’t go into detail on everyone’s reasons for which side they choose, but it was actually really touching. Some said because they thought science could cure, or working together they could figure something out, or Koro-sensei saying they can be the best assassin with a name like “Justice” really affected them. And then there were others that were simple and just simply wanted to help him, or kill him. Everyone had their own reasons, and so the battle started. I won’t go into detail on that either, but I did have fun watching it. It was actually rather exciting, and I could really feel the emotions from the students. And watching it, I just can’t imagine how this anime is going to end! I really don’t, and it’s driving me crazy. Like I said, I understand wanting to save Koro-sensei because he’s absolutely wonderful, but I understand having to look at reality and knowing that saving him is going to be a long shot, so killing him is the other option. But they’ve tried killing him before numerous times and failed, so….AHH. I DON’T KNOW!!!
I really appreciate them bringing up Nagisa and Karma’s relationship. They do claim to be friends, but like Kayano said, they seem to have some sort of distance between them, and I have no idea why. With the two of them gazing at each other at the end of the episode, I hope to see their showdown and some backstory.
