This week it was Mirai’s turn to obtain a Support Linklestone for herself (Pink Tourmaline), which they obtained deep within the forest where the rumored “evil” plant was. The rumored plant however turned out to be miraculous one, where the inhabitants of the forest would gather for healing. The giant flower was also responsible for holding possession of the Pink Tourmaline Linklestone.
Although their assignment was about get a picture of the Pegasus, Mirai’s challenge of the week was learning how to fly properly. In order to complete the assignment, the girls needed to be able to fly on their brooms since it’s basically the only way to get a picture of the creature.
Unfortunately I found the episode flat out boring, so boring that I almost fell asleep. There were a couple of cute moments, but it wasn’t enough to make me care about it. The only scene that kind of woke me up was when the mother Pegasus was turned into the monster and proceeded to attack them and even her foal- which I then thought was pretty messed up. Fortunately the foal was able to show she still had self control to restrain from harming her baby and that was enough to buy the girls time to finally save the mother.
That’s about all I have to say for this episode. Honestly these type of episode would be best as a double-post due to how short they are… I probably should have announced that last week, but whatever- next week we are finally onto their final supplementary lessons. I can tell you right now I cannot wait for that because I am very curious to see where the story will go after this. So far Mirai been hanging along fairly well and Riko has already gone through some serious character development. The curiosity alone is enough to keep me going at least while longer. Hopefully the next arc will be a lot more interesting.
Well, I found this episode really good and not so bad at all. It presents some surprises and cool moments in my opinion.
I really liked Mirai’s hand or fingers play (wish I knew the name of this game, hahahah) with one Pegasus while Riko stands by for the opportunity to make a picture. Hahhahaha, to me that was really funny and cool to watch. And yet, Cure Miracle plays that same game with the monster pretty well! XD
Even though the girls fell into a suspicious big hole (I was like “Uh-oh. What’s that hole?” And they fell in it, but at least it wasn’t dangerous or a trap), I really like when they talked about how Mirai controlled and flew well on her broom all of a sudden, it was because she was focused to save Haa-chan and, she believed. 🙂
It was so cute when Riko laughed at Mirai’s optimistic behaviour and called her ‘one of a kind’. How pretty nice of Riko. ^^
Really liked the relationship of the Pegasus cub and its mother between the ‘Duo of Cure Witches’ (that’s what I’ll be calling them for now).
Good thing that they found another Linkle Stone and the mother Pegasus was so kind to get it for them too. ^^
I must write that the monster in this episode really surprised me as it shows that even creatures can be turned into monsters in this season, just like it happened in Fresh series if you watched it.
I thought the Pegasus cub would be scared and so worried, but it was angered and wanted to save its mother instead, whoa. I was glad to see that her mother was still fighting against the control or will of the monster and help the cures win. Sparda thought well of choosing a victim or a friend of the cures to have the advantage of beating them, but she underestimated the maternal power.
The battle in this episode proved more interesting and nicer to watch than I imagined. 🙂
Oh wow, can’t wait for the next episode and Liz will appear again!! Hooray! XD
I wonder how it will be this one! 😀
Are you still reviewing this show or are you just watching it now? I love reading your reviews ><
Thank you for your kind words! <3 As of right now, I am still covering it. The subs I am using (ImaginationSub) have been released as a duo rather than on a weekly basis recently, that's why it is late (I expect Episode 9 & 10 to be out in a day or so). If you are ever wondering about a series status, check Who's Covering What page, we always keep it up to date. :)
so far from what you seen it seems to you that it going to be comedy kind of precure like smile season by how the episodes going?
I’m not entirely sure TBH, but given the nature of the show I wouldn’t be surprised if the themes were similar. If it’s anything like Smile Precure though, it’s a bit troubling for me since I quickly became bored with that series and dropped it. :\ As I mentioned earlier on, I give series that are 25+ episodes the benefit of the doubt up to Episode 10 – 15. So I would say the next five episodes (11 – 15) will be playing a major role determining whether or not I am motivated enough to continue the coverage- even if it becomes something that wounds up being covered bi-weekly due to how the subs are released.
EDIT: Episode 9 & 10 just came out, I will have their entry out in a bit.
