That went from 0-100 real quick. I actually jumped a bit there at the end when the pretty lady working for silver megane got stabbed and raised into the air. But from what we saw from the preview, she’s still alive. Yay. I mean look at her blush, isn’t she adorable?
Too bad I don’t know her name. I don’t know Silver Megane’s name either. They probably said their names a couple times but that’s it. Then there’s that dapper old man with the creepy smile and that other man that wreaked havoc in the end. Well, we know he’s an Ajin but why would that old man ask for his help to capture Kei?
Kei and Kai encounter trouble again. They are pursued by another person on the freeway that recognizes Kei as the Ajin and they’re followed. On the curve of the freeway, the man on the other motorcycle kicks them and sends them over the railing, flying and crashing onto the ground. With each episode I get more and more suspicious of Kai. How the hell did he not get hurt from that fall? It’s not like he wore protective gear, he was the same as Kei with just a motorcycle helmet. But the only injury that Kai got was a scratch on his forehead that caused bleeding, but Kei got both of his legs broken. That…doesn’t sit right with me. Kai was easily able to get up and bash the man’s head in with a rock with ease while Kei couldn’t even move. This…this kid isn’t normal. I mean we got this, then we got him being prepared to save Kei when it was announced he was an Ajin, and also last episode he was able to break free of the voice paralysis faster than the other men that chased them. Who are you Kai and what are you hiding? What?!
But he doesn’t seem suspicious in the sense that he’ll betray Kei, he seems to be genuinely concerned about his safety. When the boys finally make it to the hideout they set for, Kai suggests they go to Kyushu where his grandfather lives. He claims it’s a peaceful place where people wouldn’t care of who he is, even an Ajin. But Kei isn’t totally buying it, but when Kai leaves to buy things, more thoughts races in his head. If Kai stays with him his life is just going to be in more and more danger. Plus getting to Kyushu would take awhile and it would just be harder for him, so he’s thinking he has to separate himself from Kai. And finally, he caught sight of his “black ghost”. We know that he saw it as a kid.
Silver Megane and Pretty Lady (I’ll learn their names next episode) finished their interview with Kei’s mother, too bad we didn’t get much of anything. When they leave the house they catch sight of the dapper old man and freak out all of a sudden and I’m just wondering what’s up with this guy? They call for police to keep watch of him, so this man must mean serious business. Pretty Lady gets the job to quickly asks some questions to Kei’s little sister. Eriko doesn’t want to be dealing with this but she recounts an old story, the flashback we saw with their puppy dying and Kei freaking out about a “ghost” even though Eriko wasn’t able to see it. Pretty Lady presses on and asks if it’s a black ghost but she’s embarrassed she’s said too much. And now I wonder just what or who she is because when she was stabbed by the black ghost, she was the only one who could see it while the police and Eriko couldn’t. She looks dead as she’s dropped to the floor, the two policemen killed while Eriko faints.
The man that killed them was the man in red that the dapper old man asks for help in capturing Kei. So the two Ajin in Japan…this guy? And Pretty Lady? Because the hit that she received with all that blood on the floor, any normal person would have been killed. But we see in the preview that she’s A-okay, so she must be an Ajin herself. Obvious to think this as she knew what color the ghosts are and the fact that she was able to see it when she was stabbed. So these two just can’t be the presumed two Ajin discovered in Japan because if they were they’d already be captured, right? So instead of now 3 Ajin, it’s 5? I don’t know, it might be 6 because…Kai. Also that old man, I don’t know what’s up with him. Either he’s an Ajin himself or he’s working with them for some reason.
Ajins?
Because we are in evangelion territory with ajin, have ever played Life is Strange? It’s such a goood rendition of the very same story and I’ve watched at least five anime attempiting that (kemonozume/karekano/rideback come to mind, rokka qualifies too).
Get vantage or someone to play it and review it you won’t be disappointed:D
*have you
*attempting
sigh
No I haven’t but I heard it’s a really good game. I usually don’t have the time to play much video games with school and all, though I do plan to play it…when…I actually finish the other ten games I’ve started but haven’t beaten. ;>>
