I don’t know if it was supposed to be laugh out loud funny, but the fact that the tiny girl with a small voice that’s super shy and innocent-looking…wants to really work in a hentai game…is H I L A R I O U S to me. Maybe because it’s really early in the morning but when she admitted to that I just bust out laughing because it came out of nowhere.
Even the cute ones have their naughty secrets. ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
Does that include me? You’ll have to stick around and see.
So we continue with this weird story of bishoujo games and moe culture that has, and I quote, “surpassed 2D and entered a new dimension”. Thank you, Kuroda, you’re still hella weird.
With only Bunta and Kuroda officially in the “marketing club” which is just the front of the Bishoujo Game Club, they need to get a few more people to join the club. They have the producer, which is Kuroda, and a writer, which is Bunta. But they need a voice actress, a programmer, an A-lead (animator), a CG person and so forth. So they need to gather more teammates and Kuroda puts Bunta to the job of getting people.
And let me tell you they got the entire group together really fast. Though that’s a good thing because this show is only one cour. Bunta’s friends found out he’s working on a “sexy game” but then they join up all of a sudden. Yuuka is great at acting and she’s always wanted to get into voice acting in hopes it’d help her talent, so she joins the club as the voice actress. Then Atomu wants to join too. He doesn’t really have any talents but Kuroda appoints him as an assistant after watching him rage about a time he got dumped by a girl for being too nice, and honestly what the hell was that. So they’re both in the team, even though neither of them are into bishoujo games (though Atomu seems to like anime-related stuff). So the four of them get together and they ask what they’re going to do with their game when they’re done with it. Kuroda takes them on a trip to Akiba to look at the competition I guess you could say, to show them what kind of world they’re getting themselves into, and how much hard work they’re going to put into their game.
Right when they’re about to leave, Bunta decides to stay behind because he’s a boy and I guess boys like maids. And he goes inside a maid cafe and he meets up with the red-haired girl from his class, working as a maid. And it’s weird because she made her voice super high which I guess is supposed to be cute but I don’t think you guys need my opinion on that (it’s not cute). It’s actually kind of funny though, but at least Bunta kept it a secret.
Next day Bunta looks for people to join the club but they’re all half-assed, but he then decides to focus on the art because that’s probably the most important part of the game. It can’t be blank, so he goes to a bookstore to look at different anime artstyles. He sees a little paper with art someone drew in the bookstore that he loved and showed it to the club, which they loved as well. Bunta did his research and found out through the internet that the artist belongs to the girl in the bookstore, who is a first-year girl at their school. So they go and recruit her with the help of Andou, and Andou joins as programmer.
So now the team consists of Bishoujo Game Worshipper, Drama Queen, the whiny heartbroken dude, Meido-chan, Hentai Girl, and Bunta. Amazing, this is the perfect team. And with Kuroda throwing in her pitch idea for a game, they all can finally start on something.
It might mess me up that we have a Yuuka and a Yuuki. They’re names are similar and they both look kinda similar too. I liked this episode, it made me laugh a few times. They seem like a good group, but from what we see in the opening it looks like Kuroda and Andou are going to butt heads. So maybe they all won’t get along immediately, we’ll see how it goes. Shoutout to Hentai Girl for making me laugh the most this episode.
Dont forget that our maid grammar is into BoysLove, dramaqueen is hyperactiv and our MC is so normal that its almost scary
But overall definitely a show i have enjoyed yet so far and laught a lot about
