We return to the Romantica pairing and the ever growing issue of Ijuin-sensei being in love with Misaki, also, Usagi being mopey and melancholy about it. Which leads him to write on time and get his deadlines done like a normal person…that’s a good thing right? Though it is causing everyone to worry about him. Aikawa, Misaki.
Well good news though is it looks as if Misaki will be passing Hiroki’s class. If only by the skin of his teeth. He has his friend to thank for that one, and what better way to thank him then agree to bring him along to Ijuin-sensei’s house….eh?
Since Ijuin has the day off so he invites Misaki and his friend over to his place. Of course, both of them being huge fans of his. This is quiet the chance. Thinking smartly for once in his damn life, Misaki tries to find an out. He tries to use work as an excuse and think that a part-timer shouldn’t be spending his off time with one of the authors.
Excuse to get out of going….failed. Ijuin already thought ahead and got permission for it.
Well surely something will come up when Misaki tells Usagi about it….he’s not gonna get to tell Usagi about it is he? So without Usagi knowing, him and his friend go to Ijuin’s apartment and get to see all sorts of interesting things related to ‘The Kan’ such as rejected character ideas and storyboards. Half color pages, and such. Things that weren’t even included in the fan book. Basically, it’s any Otaku’s dream.
[If i got to see that kind of stuff for Death Note, I might have a heart attack and die. See what I did there?]
As they go to leave, well, Misaki’s friend does leave and that leaves Misaki in a rather awkward place. As Ijuin just up and says that he’s in love with him, romantically. Yes, he is aware that he’s a guy. No he doesn’t care. He wants to be with Misaki, and he wants to make his feelings clear as such. As he goes to touch Misaki, Usagi comes in and says that nobody else can touch Misaki.
LINES HAVE BEEN DRAWN!
Usagi has laid down the law! though Ijuin doesn’t seem to care, he’s like “Welp, I confessed. It’s up to Misaki’s feelings now.” and watches Misaki get dragged away. Usagi confides his worries in Misaki and this leads to the cutest love confession EVER. He’s all like “I’m gonna announce it to the world, so loud that the whole neighborhood can hear.” and then he barely whispers it loud enough for Usagi to hear!
GAH, Misaki why are you so dumb but also so cute? Way too cute, SUPER cute! Usagi says that he’s happy as long as Misaki is with him. Well it looks like Usagi is back to normal…WAIT, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR HIS WRITING? His poor editor is in for a world of pain now…poor Aikawa-san. I loved this episode for a lot of reasons, mostly because it ended with Usagi and Misaki happy with one another.
Ijuin, GET OUT OF THEIR BUSINESS. SERIOUSLY, BUTT OUT. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT THERE. I mean, I get it. You can’t really help who you fall in love with, even if they are with someone else but it’s like…idk. I might get it if Usagi and Misaki’s relationship was rocky but it’s not.
oh well, yaoi drama am I right?
