Actually, please keep going with all these Koma-chan scenes, they’re hilarious.

I was kind of hoping to see some swimsuits though, especially after we were denied the Okinawa trip, but… oh well. I’m… not disappointed… ^{Really… I’m not}

I suggest pinning the blame on Nattsun. It’s always her fault. I still remember that time last season when she swapped out Koma-chan’s bowl of noodles with one she’d accidentally made too spicy, and Koma-chan ended up in a looooot of pain (Natsumi then thought she’d been caught out by Ren-chon, but all Renge was staring at was an insect buzzing around). I know one of Koma-chan’s unfortunate incidents this episode happened because of Ren-chon -and that one was golden- but it’s much easier blaming Natsumi! And she could have given Koma-chan brain damage. All of the stuff that happened involved her getting covered in water rather than getting hurt, but I love how she went from not believing in fortunes to eventually thinking she was cursed or something. I also like how some of these scenes end up getting referenced later on, like how Ren-chon decided to make another teru-teru bouzu paper plate when it rained this episode. I can’t believe Candy Store actually figured it out with a single glance. And she was the only adult to call them out on their ‘truancy’.

And with this episode, we finally had Candy Store make a proper, full appearance in this season! After everyone decided to take shelter from the rain in the second half, it basically became Shokugeki no Dagashiya as she taught them how to cook delicious okonomiyaki – and there was a small fashion show as Hotarun became a gangster and Koma-chan was picked on yet again. Don’t feel down senpai, it was really cute! But what Nattsun had on was rather… risqué considering the age Candy Store should have been when she wore those clothes. And speaking of supposed ages, I find myself asking this question every few episodes or so:

Is that a fifth-grader? Really? Not a bored college student?
