Easily my favorite couple in the entire Dragon Ball series is Bulma and Vegeta. While ChiChi and Goku are cute, it still happened cause he misunderstood that marriage was a food. Bulma and Vegeta have this whole genuine chemistry thing I have always loved and this episode really goes to show you just how deep the feelings run. Namely, because up until the finale Vegeta has shown for two episodes he lacks the capacity to fight Beerus and merely wanted to appease him. It took so much for Vegeta to return to his cocky angry self and low and behold that ‘so much’ was Bulma.
As usual Super is entertaining, and also comes with something the Dragon Ball series as a whole always did: I’m fucking hungry. I could go for sushi right now and I don’t even eat fish! Every episode featuring their eating habits just makes me want to go FOOD, PLEASE, FOOOOOOD!!! It’s hard to stomach how hungry this show makes me feel. Haha, that was an accidental pun.
I both love and hate the pacing sometimes. I haven’t seen the movies so I’m sure everyone who has seen them loves just how explicit some of the expansion on details is- but sometimes I find myself going, okay, and? It was fun showing that every member who could fight basically did or was told now to. Piccolo, 18, Tien, Gotenks, Gohan- everyone basically fought and then Beerus was like ‘o wut was that? lol’ and well, it was hilarious.
I appreciate that the whole concept of this season is “This guy is actually super op” not just powerful, he is literally a god. It’s made every joke a little more amusing. Why does Majin Buu fuck up everything? Every single fucking time Majin Buu! Can we get a break dude?! I love watching this show but it’s hard to comment on it given its nature. The only exception is how excited I am to see Vegeta fight Beerus even though it’s going to be incredibly one sided. Come on show he did it for Bulma cut him some slack!
Next w-…soon! The epic fight and it will definitely be completely even!
