I think Yamato should know right now that Takeo is crazy about her. And even if another girl falls for him…who cares? Like yeah I guess you’ll feel worried that another girl is going to like your boyfriend, but as long as you trust Takeo, then you shouldn’t worry about anything. At least that’s how I see it, but that’s just me.
This episode constantly reminds us that Takeo is not popular with the girls. Takeo keeps reassuring Yamato of this just so she doesn’t get jealous or worried about him. But then the school sport’s festival arrives and Takeo is in the relay race. One of the girls in the team sprains her ankle, and so another girl that wasn’t signed up for two sports takes her place. The problem is that she’s a very slow runner and she skips practice one day knowing that she’s a burden on the team. Takeo bumps into her and learns of this, so he says he’ll help her practice every day. And so the girl looks as though she’s fallen in love with Takeo. She gives him a gift in the end for helping her out and then “confesses” to him, but…it was more of a master/student thing? Okay?
Yamato meets with Saijou at the park and Yamato sinks into this unsure blob of worry and nervousness. She says even if another girl likes Takeo, she’ll just fight back. Which was make Takeo have a matching cellphone strap with a picture of them as his background, just so show that they’re a couple. And also she’s been going to his school everyday. She notes that Saijou is pretty, has a big chest, and seems nice. Yamato was actually there when Saijou “confessed” and was freaking out but was relieved when she said she only liked Takeo as a person. But really I think she only said that was because she knew that Takeo had a girlfriend, so she just settled for that and was happy with that.
I don’t know, I just didn’t really…care for this episode much. There are misunderstandings because Takeo and Yamato don’t talk about this stuff. Takeo can’t even bring himself to call Yamato cute, but I’m sure if he did Yamato wouldn’t be worrying in this episode. Like I said, a million girls can fall for Takeo, but as long as he’s in love with Yamato, then she doesn’t have to worry about a thing. This really was the only episode where I was…meh. This really wasn’t the drama I care for, and I was worried that there were going to be misunderstandings and Yamato was going to sink into some depression with Takeo being a dense and not understanding why. Though I feel like this is going to continue into next week’s episode as it’s called “My Disciple”, so it sounds like we’ll be seeing more of Saijou.
