Was I right, or was I right! Usually I’m really happy when I can guess things right in shows, but in this case I’m far from happy. This is the first time since Koro-sensei and Itona’s fight that I was on the edge of my seat during an episode. Like, I was really freaking out. This episode was extremely intense, and the ending put the icing on the cake. But honestly, what else can I expect from that monster?

Let me just summarize the first half very fast. The students hid behind the chairs with Koro-sensei issuing orders for them, confusing the assassin. He gives a little pep talk to the two sniper students, telling them that they don’t have to have all the pressure on themselves and not to doubt their skill. They need to rely on the other students too. The first shot acts like it misses the assassin, but it instead hit the rafters, which caused it to crash down on him, and the second shot just hit the gun away. He’s easily defeated and finally they can move on to the big baddie who is….

That’s right, bitches, it’s nasty evil sadistic monster Takaoka again. My hatred for this man comes back again as he rears his ugly face. This time, he’s officially lost it. As the group approaches, there is a case with explosives strapped on it where the antidotes are. So the group can’t make any hasty movements. If it wasn’t already easy to tell, Takaoka is completely obsessed with this class. The defeat he suffered when teaching the class last time really messed with his reputation. His colleagues berated him for his loss against junior-high students. He faces shame and embarrassment that caused him to go haywire and compulsively scratch at his face. He was humiliated and the thought can never leave his mind. But he’s back again, to settle the score and to assassinate Koro-sensei like he was told to. To see how unstable he is, he’s a force to really be reckoned with.

I can’t even describe how much of a monster he is. The students are right, he’s more of a demon. I was right in being suspicious about the “two smallest students” thing he had mentioned before. Nagisa just happens to be one of the smallest, but then there was also Kayano (I remembered her name!). Originally, his plan was to abduct Kayano and stuff her into a tub filled with anti-Koro BB bullets, put Koro-sensei with her in there, and then bury them alive. And once Koro-sensei would return to his normal form, it would cause an explosion, which would instantly kill Kayano. He had no problem beating the children when he was teaching them, but he really wouldn’t care if he had to kill them either. This guy…is fucking terrible. He’s a disgusting monster and he makes me sick. I’m glad the group didn’t go with that plan and instead all came together.

Of course, the biggest grudge he has here is with Nagisa. They go to the roof and tells Nagisa, and only him, to step onto the helicopter pad with him to talk. Once they’re there, he instantly blows up the little bridge that led to the pad so nobody would be able to interfere. And oh man, if I didn’t hate this guy enough before I certainly did this moment.

He demands Nagisa to apologize to him. For what? For embarrassing him, for talking back to an adult, a teacher, like him, and for pulling a sneak attack on him because he “has no skill”. He makes him apologize on his knees and with his head on the ground. Nagisa swallows his pride and dignity, thinking of his sick friends, and apologized. Nagisa didn’t want to fight, he wanted to talk. He would do whatever to save his classmates, even if it meant throwing away his dignity and apologizing to this monster of a man, even though he doesn’t need to apologize for anything. Takaoka then goes on to step on his head and casually talk about the disgusting way the virus would kill the students. It’s then that he grabs the case, throws it in the air, and pushes the detonator. And right then and there…the antidotes blow up in a huge explosion. Karasuma, the students, and poor Nagisa stare aghast while Takaoka just laughs hysterically. Nagisa looks at Terasaka’s face, as earlier he found out that Terasaka had been infected by the virus as well. And now the antidote to save him and the others are gone.

Nagisa grabs the knife in front of him and with extreme killing intent, readies to kill Takaoka. I would honestly say I want Nagisa to kill him, but then again I don’t him to be a killer. But then again…this is Takaoka, I would kill him too. He swallowed his pride for nothing. I want him to at least stab Takaoka a couple times. And then somehow Karasuma and the rest of the students can come onto the deck and beat the shit out of him. Next is the finale, please let it end with Takaoka in pain! I want this asshole to suffer, and I certainly hope he hid extra antidotes somewhere.

Unfortunately still a weeb

Congratulations for calling it correctly – pat yourself on the back for me 🙂
Really strong episode that builds up the final boss as a monster. But you know what? Just like Koro-sensei realized, he had no idea how to use his assassins so he still is not capable of teaching that class. No matter how much of a monster he may be, he still is the shitty teacher that Nagisa defeated once.
The class bully ended up as one of the most developed characters this season, who would have seen that coming?
