This week, it was Itsuki’s turn to shine in the spotlight. I have to say I really did like learning about the side of her she had kept to herself ever since the accident. When she was little, Itsuki was a tom-boy, who did whatever she wants when she wants. She had the adventurous spirit with many dreams and wishes. But one day, after climbing a tree despite her brother’s protest, she fell and hit her head, and obtained a scar from the accident. The scar served her as a reminder to never do anything selfish like that again, as she felt guilty how her brother was the one being blamed for not stopping her when it was all on her. Seineg Itsuki be the bold girl she truly is was fun to watch. I loved how Itsuki switched to being the Prince in Aoi’s steed as oppose to the Princess whom she was selected to be for the festival. She looks dazzling when she is able to be comfortable in her own skin and the choices she makes.
I have to say, it was an interesting stroke of comparisons with the story of The Lady in the Tower and Minato’s Greenhouse. It’s a place where Subaru is led to by the stars, but it’s not actually part of the school. It’s the only place he knows. He doesn’t have dreams or wishes, he doesn’t have any interest of going outside/leaving the place because he doesn’t understand the gain or accomplishment of doing so.
That being said, I am looking forward to next week’s episode since it appears it will be Minato central! Looking forward to learning more about him and whether or not he and the Dark Star we have been seeing are one and the same person or even a split personality.
Unfortunately from here no out I will no longer be covering Houkago no Pleiades. It is not because of my health condition, but because of the lack of drive to write about it on a weekly basis. The storyline is incredibly slow so it’s not fun for me to write about. Houkago no Pleiades is one of those shows where it’s better for me to simply sit back and enjoy. On that note, for those who wonder whether or not they should start watching it while it airs, my advice would be to wait and marathon it once it’s finished, this way you don’t have to wait a week or more for some sort of development or learning a bit more about the characters.

This makes me sad. No one else even bothered starting to review the series, let alone followed it this far. I was hoping I could follow your reviews to the end. But if you can’t enjoy writing about it then I guess that’s that.
Sorry… ; v ; The decision makes me sad too. I was really excited for the show and was hoping to cover it until the end, but after last week’s and this week’s episode I knew I couldn’t do it anymore. Blogging a series is supposed to be fun and motivating; not feeling like you have homework to do. XD Honestly, I didn’t even want to write this entry, that’s how unmotivated I was, but I felt it was only right for me to do and then announce my discontinuation of the coverage. The best possible alternative would be if it motivates me to do a Random Review once it is completed, but we will have to wait and see how the rest of the show unfolds.
Just for the record, you may have chosen the worst point to drop this series, because episode six marks the halfway point of the series with a BANG. It also uses up pretty much all the remaining OVA material that we hadn’t seen yet, so I have no idea where the series is going from here on out.
DAMNIT, WHY DOES THAT ALWAYS HAPPEN!? Regardless it’s better for my wrists anyways ; v ;|||| I haven’t watched it yet since I was busy all day, but I’m just about to do so now. If it’s as dramatic as you say, then I might write something up.
