Finals time has reared its ugly head over, and now it’s time for the students to really show what they’re made of, and do a lot better than how they did in midterms. But just like always they have an obstacle in the way, in the form of five brilliant students from the A-Class, the Big Five. And to make it worse, the principal’s son is part of the five, and he’s the best one. Perfect scores in every subject, and as cunning and frightening as his father.

The students come across this information from Sugino’s buddy from the baseball game. He calls him to tell him that the A-Class is having a meeting, and in a hilarious introduction, talks about each student of the Big Five. We see that the A-Class are aware that the E-Class are trying to take top scores in each subject. Koro-sensei is doing something different to motivate them. Instead of them all being in the top 50, he proposes that each student who scores in the top for a subject each can blow off one of his tentacles, which reduces his speed by 10%. So if they get the top scores for each subject, his speed will be reduced by 50%. And the students are excited.

It’s just like the same before. Everyone’s noticing the E-Class trying to improve, and they’re trying to keep them down. This means underhanded schemes from the higher ups because they messed with the questions again. This also means again the main campus students trying to intimidate the E-Class. But the class isn’t taking any of their crap anymore. Isogai was able to reserve some seats in the library ahead of time to study, and some of the students go. Four of the Big Five arrive to harrass them, and they all stood their ground. Even sweet little Okuda. After months of assassination training, they’re not pushovers anymore. But because of this confrontation, an important agreement went down. Whoever’s class takes the most top scores has to do what the winner says. So now the competition between the A-Class and the E-Class is really important.

Koro-sensei holds up some pamphlet, but we didn’t get to see what the E-Class would want if they won. But for the A-Class, Asano made an agreement on the spot with many things listed that the E-Class must follow if they lose. But one extremely important thing that the E-Class would have to abide to is that they wouldn’t be able to keep secrets.

Asano had a very…interesting conversation with the principal, aka his father. Not the most normal father-son conversation I’ve heard, but really neither of them are normal. Talking about controlling the other for life, yeah, not normal. Anyway, Asano talked about the A-Class dominating scores and all. But then Asano brought up if his father was keeping something from him, about the E-Class. Because this is the most ever he’s had to deal with the class, and Asano has heard rumors about a yellow octopus, which of course is Koro-sensei. His father doesn’t tell him a thing, of course. Asano is able to control everyone, but one person he hasn’t completely controlled is his own father. He wants to control everyone and anything, like his father taught him to, even if he’s controlling his father. He’s pretty much obsessed with that, while also holding interest in the E-Class.

Exams certainly are a scary thing, but the pressure is even worse this time around for the class, and we’ll see how it all turns out next week.
