And so, we’re back to the midst of the giant battle with the neighbor worlds because the neighbors want to be giant butts. At least….that’s what I gather their plan is. To be giant butts. I say this, because as of right now, we really don’t know their plan. Although, i’m getting ahead of myself, so let’s jump into World Trigger episode 24.
So the episode continues with the fighting going on. Wet blanket is wondering why last episode they didn’t destroy the Border building and end the fight, while one of the bad guys asks his teammates the same thing, who quickly proceed to tell him that he’s an idiot.
Meanwhile we cut back to the idiot trio who think they should be doing more than helping people escape and think they could help fight off the neighbors themselves.
We cut back to that group that took down the rabbit neighbor only to find out that the guy they captured isn’t inside him, only a cube of trion is. They wonder what happened and decide to take the cube back to base.
The show THEN jumps back to that girl that I don’t like talking to wet blanket. Yuma’s chaperone robot thing starts telling them how this invasion makes no sense as they are investing way too much trion and it’s probably leaving their own countries at risk. He also answers the question of why didn’t they just destroy the Border building.
According to the robot, if they were to do destroy a building with a bunch of experienced trion users, a few of them would probably give their life to create black triggers which, if given to other users, would completely fuck up the invader’s day and more than likely cause them to lose the battle. Which….actually kind of makes sense. Damn you and using logic for once World Trigger. I wanted to make fun of your lack of it some more!
The trio idiots defeat a weak Neighbor, but then a new rabbit type shows up.
Unlike the other one, THIS one is a different color! And it fires evil lasers of evil!
At the same time a Marmod (god I can’t believe I remember what it was called) pops up and Wet blanket will have to fight it while Bitch takes on the new neighbor.
We then get an internal flashback of how wet blanket remembered when Yuma told him how they’d need 20 of him to beat one of those back in the day. And now he actually beats one of them one on one. Hooray!
Even bitch girl takes out the new rabbit robot! It looks like everything’s going to be a-okay.
Haha ah….no just kidding.
3 new rabbits pop up and attack. One of them turning Bitch into a trion cube.
Before she’s turned into a cube though she finds out that they’re really after the C ranks and so she tells them as they all run. Except for Chika who continues to stand there like an idiot.
And the episode ends with her standing there basically wetting herself.
So….how was this episode?
Well.. it had some fighting in it. So…..that’s good?
It seem that the plans of the enemy are starting to come to light, but still…we’re not entirely sure WHY they want to capture all these people or WHY they’re leaving their home planets so unguarded, but it seems like we’re probably going to learn it soon.
It was nice to see wet blanket defeat something that before he had no chance of beating and it was actually hilarious to see bitch mcgee get turned into a cube.
There was some action, but a lot of internal flashback stuff and reasoning/discussing things out.
Nobody’s really played their big hands yet or revealed themselves as we see the big players still kind of farting around. Nothing is going to be decided until they show up, so as of right now we’re kind of just twiddling out thumbs waiting for that to happen.
All in all, the episode was okay, but it kind of was a placeholder dance.
Episode 6/10
