Yep, here we are again. Another episode of Tribe Cool Crew. And honestly, it’s an episode I’ve been looking forward to. We’ve got to finish round 3 of Dance Road, so you know what? Let’s just jump right into it.
So as we left off, our heroes had just passed parts 1 and 2 of the 3 rounds that is part 3 of the tournament.
What is part three you may ask? Well, it turns out that the challenge is to watch Master T perform a dance and then all of the people in the group have to reproduce it from memory precisely with no mistakes whatsoever or you fail.
And by god, they do it perfectly.
I know it’s animated but..jesus I can’t remember his dance past like…the fifth move. There’s no way I would have been able to do that. If people can really do this in real life, then they get all my respect. Because that’s insane.
So yes, they pass the third round along with everyone else. That is…except for Luilui and moemoe. They seem to fail. Not because they couldn’t copy it, but because they added their own bit of flair into the dance and the point of the round was precision, and suppressing their individuality.
Don’t feel too bad for them however, because as they’re leaving, they’re stopped by one of the people who was in charge of the competition telling them that he has a special offer for them.
The rest of the people involved get their new pins, this time Mizuki hangs onto it. Everyone is lead out of the floating ship and it vanishes.
Then for absolutely no reason the twins dance and everyone’s impressed by it. Not sure why they dance, they just kind of do.
And the episode ends with everybody getting ready for the next round.
This episode was actually, once again, really good. I’ve said it before, and i’ll say it again. Whenever this series focuses on the plot, it’s really really good. The dance road arc has been just great and I enjoy every episode that takes place in it.
I’m not going to lie, I was actually on edge wondering if the gang was actually going to perform it perfectly or not. To me, that’s an impossible tasks, but I guess to professional dancers, it’s not.
Once the round was over though, the episode did kind of slow down. For a while Haneru and Kanon talked about how they were sad that Luilui and Moemoe didn’t make it, and then the girls danced for no reason, which ate up a bunch of time.
That’s the issue with this show. It doesn’t know how to deal with its non-plot relevant time. If this show could have better filler it would be absolutely fantastic. Still, the parts that are good are still good, and it’s always a blast to see them all dance.
Seeing the trailer for the next episode, I see we’re back to filler territory. Sigh. Oh well, here’s hoping that it’s good filler like the basketball episode, and not bad filler like the pickle one.
All in all though, I’m actually still having a lot of fun with this show, and even though we’re still chugging along at episode 25 with no end in sight, I’m glad I took this show on. It’s like a friend you see every week.
All right. Let’s finish off this episode with a group photo
Nice.
Episode 7.5/10
