Iggy’s tiring fight comes to an end and things start moving along. And Kakyoin is back!
Iggy was able to escape Pet Shop’s icicle spear by sacrificing one of his front legs that got stuck. If he hadn’t, then he would have been dead. Now with three legs, Iggy hides underwater in a sand tomb made by The Fool. For now, he decides to hide. But of course Pet Shop won’t let him off easily, and he dives straight into the water and sends icicles into The Fool. More icicles, and Iggy is able to deflect them with The Fool’s arms. But Pet Shop freezes the water around him, and in turn starts to crush Iggy. Hoping to escape, Iggy has no choice but to dig and escape that way. Which is really hard with one paw. Reaching an opening underneath, he comes face to face with Pet Shop, who is ready to blast his face with an icicle. But letting The Fool collapse, the pressure of the crash shot him straight forward, and used his mouth to bite down on Pet Shop’s beak. With that and the explosion, Pet Shop dies, and Iggy floats up to the surface.
If it weren’t for that little boy from before spotting him and getting him from the water, Iggy would have died. Interesting to see some of Iggy’s memories from New York. He caused some trouble, fought a gang of dogs, and was the main dog of the place with bitches on his side. Seriously……
But then he fought Avdol and was captured by both him and Joseph against his will. Understandable that he would have something against them, since he seemed to have a pretty good life. And now he only has three legs. But now he’s pissed at Dio for making him go through this, and so he wants to kick his ass. The boy treats him, and Iggy finds Jotaro and gang. And then and there is when Kakyoin arrives. Hurray! And he’s wearing sunglasses, cool.
Since Iggy knows where Dio’s mansion is, he immediately leads them the way there, even when he’s clearly tired. But they make it. And oh man, I got really excited when Stand Proud started playing and the narrator was summarizing their adventures. Gave me goosebumps, but also very excited. These boys really went through a lot, and just to think, Dio is right there. I hope. Unless there’s going to be some kind of twist. But of course they can’t face Dio yet, because there’s still one more God Stand they need to take care of. Joseph tells the guys to not rush in, so they carefully approach the front door when it opens by itself. And there, a man levitates over to them and greets them, calling himself the butler of the place.
The next episode preview calls this guy D’Arby the Player. D’Arby? This guy looks like D’Arby, but he can’t be the same gambler D’Arby. Maybe he’s his twin or something? I don’t know, but the closer the guys get to Dio, the more excited I get. Can’t wait for next week! Also, I’m so glad Kakyoin is back. The whole group is back together. Awesome sunglasses too.
D’Arby the Player while an accurate translation can be translated in a different way. The more proper and popular translation that makes a bit more sense is D’Arby the Gamer.
