Haha I..I can’t believe it. For a show I took on a whim after I dropped a show LAST SEASON, it’s still going on. I thought this show was going to be 12 episodes long, but now we’re at episode 24 with no end in sight. But honestly, I don’t regret this decision. This show has been a whole bunch of a great time. That being said, let’s begin.

The episode starts up with the gang getting ready to go to the third round of Dance Road. And to celebrate the occasion Kanon gets a new outfit.

Well...it WOULD be new if this were 1985...
Well…it WOULD be new if this were 1985…

As they follow the magic lights to the next round of Dance road, they’re greeted by the twins and the machine gun group (aka cup and ball guy).

It turns out the next round takes place in a giant floating building. Because you know…why not?

Money. Well. Spent.
Money. Well. Spent.

As they head inside, Lui lui and moe moe show up, as apparently they are involved in the third round too. What a coinkydink!

The third round ends up being on this giant dance ship where this is no audience. The winners are decided by the important to the plot people. There are 4 rounds in this round and if you fail one, you cannot continue.

Tribe Cool Crew is first up, and the first round, is actually pretty intense. They put up a video of Jey and the group has to mirror his moves perfectly. If anyone messes up at all, they’re out of dance road. Harsh.

However, they end up doing it perfectly and passing round one.

Seriously, damn, i'm actually impressed.

However, everyone else ends up passing as well, so it doesn’t really weed anyone out.

Pretty much immediately the next round starts, and…because you know they had to put it in here somewhere, it’s DDR.

Once again, just like the first round, if you mess up once, everyone loses.

These guys did a lot better than the girls from Amagi Brilliant Park...
These guys did a lot better than the girls from Amagi Brilliant Park…

And, jut like in round one, they end up passing. However, that’s when the episode ends.

Honestly, this is the reason I’ve been really invested in this show recently. I really like the dance road stuff. When the plot of this show is on, it’s really on. I actually find myself being sucked into the show and actually caring about what’s going on.

I actually want these guys to succeed and I do worry about them as I really hope they will.

Here’s the weird thing about this show. No one really seems to talk about it. And that’s a real shame. I think the thing that throws people off is the art style. And…true it’s a bit offputting at first, but, like One Piece, if you can look past it, the show ends up being really good.

True, just like a lot of other shows, there are filler episodes, but as I said, when the show’s on, it’s on.

This episode was exactly what it needed to be. Plot relevant, I didn’t want the episode to end, and I was excited for everything that was going on. Exactly the opposite of the Pickle episode.

Definitely a must see if you’re showing this show to your friend. If I had to nitpick at all, the episode took a tiny bit too long to start up. Other than that, can’t really think of anything.

Episode 8.5/10

Come on next week!
