Cross Ange: Tenshi to Ryuu No Rondo Ep 22 [IDC]

This week Ange has gone missing after Tusk and Momoka sacrificed themselves. All the while Salia is re-establishing she sucks as a character and Ersha proves she is the only sane member of Embryo’s gangbang orgy. Let’s evaluate a lot of things this episode before we move on to the big thing I’m sure every thought is on.

First off, Embryo spanks Salia. This really occurs. And rather take the humiliation and realize it’s time to move on, Salia is now just determined to kill Ange to get Embryo’s approval. Wow, did Salia just go from feelings and humanity last episode to being nothing more than a bland puppet searching for approval AGAIN? Let’s face it, Chris and Salia are bad people and I hate them. Chris is a raging whiney bitch and hopes she kills her friends, and they want to kill her for actually doing something wrong and murdering someone, whereas Salia is so hungry for the approval of a man she knows is a crazy rapist I just.

He flat out admits he’s going to make a new world filled with intelligent women. And by intelligent, he means willing to do whatever he wants. Everytime anyone shows an opinion against him he declares they aren’t smart or capable, and that’s just it. He wants them all to be his whores and you know why I say that? Ersha realizes it. She wants him to bring the children back to life and he refuses, saying they won’t be apart of his new world. Once she learns this she goes to Chris, talks to her, and realizes Embryo thinks she is a whore and wants her to be that way, He wants all the smart and pretty women to be his whores and make a new world as his freaking wives.

And you know what? Salia wants it! Salia was rejected by Jill so she wants a fucking known rapist, and Chris murdered someone and is fucking pleased by it all out of bitterness. Fuck them. Seriously. I cannot emphasize enough that Chris and Salia would be better off dead to me. Especially Chris. I just think she has nowhere to grow and has shown herself to be a vapid and empty character- just like Embryo wants. To top it all off, Embryo’s plan to merge the worlds is coming to fruition and to make it happen he has taken away all of his creation’s ability to use mana. Effectively, this also cuts off his means of finding Ange . . .because well, spoilers:

I’m happy and I don’t care. A world where Embryo gets to live and victimize women and Tusk and Momoka dies is not fun and I don’t care. Spoilers: Apparently Momoka and Tusk didn’t die. Spoilers: I don’t care. Maybe them not dying drops the anime a little lower on gritty and edgey but I really don’t care. Tusk will probably end up being an illusion of Embryo anyway let me pretend this is real for fifteen minutes and sob a little. My babies. My bbies omfg. I know it doesn’t make sense! A frying pan doesn’t stop a fucking explosion! I’m sure this is a dream but the pain Ange felt in this episode? I was crying. My relief was the same as hers, I don’t believe this and I hate what I feel. Maybe it’s all a terrible terrible trick, but at least one thing is clear: This show is so good at making me feel what the characters do I can suspend the same disbelief. OMFG it’s such a lie. . .it has to be there’s no way god loves me this much. . .

    Well, not too sure about Momoka, but at least for Tusk there’s one possibility how he escaped without any wounds or bruises that I could think of.

    Because Tusk was studied by the dragons, it could be that he may have undergone treatment (in secret, as in not known by audience) and could transform into a male dragon. It could be that when he escaped with Momoka and then turned back to human form, his wounds disappeared.

    (ps. flameproof vest is not gonna protect you from C4s, for those who watched the preview).

    The loop hole I wondered about is how did Ange knew how to call VIlkass like that? Oh and Momoka, where were you stuff that frying pan? (XDDDDD)

          I think the DRAGON episodes are where she canonically learns to call it, too. She’s been steadily getting it, but I know last episode she specifically looked for the ring knowing it could get villkiss to her. Don’t mind me crazy Cross Ange detailist here lol

            Yeah, I double checked. In episode 16, Salamandinay called her Ryushinki and it came automatically. Seeing that and what happened at the end of episode 20, where Vilkiss teleported to Ange, she may have learned it as a way to summon her machine.

            Oh and, Salamandrill! (someone really needs to compile the list of names Ange made fun of Salamandinay).

    I was so damn happy that Tusk was alive. Momoka? Well I was like wtf. Anyway, I really like when Ange called Embryo “Pervert Stalker” ! Heheh. Plus, in the preview I’m still wondering why Tusk screamed like that. I think in the next episode Ange’s gonna tell everybody what Embryo did to her and Hilda’s gonna be like, Well shit!

    Fwi. I think Momoka escaped by when she fell, she used mana to fly. It is possible! Plus, you know that Ange was wearing Tusk’s Moms’ paramail suit thing right? And Tusk was wearing his dad’s’ suit? Well, it’s so oubvious. AngeXTusk. 🙂 hey and look on the bright side! Now they can kill Embryo and have Cafe Ange!

    Oh Salia. How the mighty have fallen. I thought that she’d start finally stop making googly eyes with Embryo and start going “time to kill this asshole” but of course instead she goes to kill Ange. She started out so likeable and turned into a giant bitch. She’s like the reverse Ange. Also I don’t trust that Tusk and Momoka are alive. My guess is 1. It’s an illusion 2. Tusk is able to re spawn like Embryo and Momoka got lucky or something. 3. Theory one but Embryo is holding the real Tusk and Momoka captive and he’ll confront her and use them as emotional blackmail to get her to marry him or 4. They’re actually alive and this show will let something happy happen for once. (Starts laughing and crying hysterically)

    Okay I’ve actually had it. So I know I mentioned before but, I just kind of wish that every episode would come out each day. Then the next day it comes out subbed. But either way, I can understand Japanese! 🙂 so if it comes out raw and then subbed that’s fine by me.

    Plus. Just wondering Oki how many episodes left and how can you tell? And do you think they’ll make a second season? And in the next episode Embryo obviously will find Ange. And for some reason I wonder why in the PV Salia amd Chris weren’t fighting with Embryo……
