This episode is pretty easy to explain: they all make a plan and train. That’s basically it, but I can’t leave out important details.
The girl with the sparkly eyes that cooks calls Henrietta, and both she and Rieze go to her, where she explains about the flavor texts becoming real. Knowing the weapon the murderer has, Rieze guesses the flavor text for the katana the murderer has has also become real. The flavor text for the sword says this: A powerful man had warded off giants from his land, he was a great hero, but in the end he was betrayed by someone, was poisoned and killed. The man’s name was Rugrius, and he used to be a malicious raid boss. Now his spirit was in the katana the murderer bought, and now the murderer is being possessed by the vengeful spirit of Rugrius.
Rieze and Henrietta explain the whole situation to the Round Table. There are also three effects to the flavor text. It’s an ice/blizzard type weapon, so when using the blizzard it can freeze status. Two, his stats go up for every surround player around him. So the more people around, the more is stats increase, so it’s a bad idea for a huge group of people to attack at once. That’s why Rieze suggested for a full raid on the murderer, but instead of groups of six members, they’ll divide it into groups of two or three. And third, the murderer’s HP gets a huge boost. There’s a lot they took into account and implemented into their plan. The raid would commence on New Year’s Eve, so in that time everyone taking part is training.
Akatsuki is training hard and trying to learn the Teachings. Lenessia gets a request from Rieze to shut off the magic circle. Lenessia can’t come to a decision since she knows the risks associated with turning the magic off. She’s having trouble with that.
And soon the day of the raid comes and the 24 maidens (and some guys) set off. Akatsuki is paired up with Marie, and, of course, the murderer appears before them and that’s where the episode cuts off. This is really short and I don’t like keeping it that way, but that’s basically what happened. There wasn’t much action in this episode, but there will be in the next one for sure. It’ll be fun to finally see Marie in action. Akatsuki just keeps growing in these episodes, and watching her interact with others is cute.
