Impression
I couldn’t be happier to see that the duel was wrapped up today (not that I expected it to be more than three episodes)- especially since it was mostly a rinse and repeat of attacks. If you didn’t think that Michio insane in last week’s episode, this one surely highlighted his obsession of having a perfect recipe. He completely loses it if or whenever someone adds their own twist to his beloved recipe. Also, Michio has no qualms of going to the extreme- even when it wasn’t necessary. I mean seriously, Yuuya had 500 LP left, and he decided for the hell of it (aka: to show off his recipe), he would increase his monster’s attack points to 4800. That is such an overkill when your opponent only has 200 LP left. Luckily for Yuuya though, he was able to reduce the attack by 4000, and survived with just 200 LP thanks to being able to snatch the action card (Energy Mate) that he had failed to grab earlier in the game that gave him a 500 LP boost. In the end, Yuuya was able to win the duel by taking a chance of drawing a powerful Entermate monster, which was Entermate Hammer Mammoth (2600 ATK)- that was just enough to knock Michio out.
It was a very cute interruption to have Yuuya’s mom arrive and throw him his beloved home-made pancakes (only this time, with a twist of combining Michio’s recipe with her own) that she wasn’t able to prepare on time. It was just so adorable because she gave him the hint he needed to change up the duel by adding something that wasn’t initially part of the recipe.
Next week it looks like we’ll be going back to the more interesting goodies, plot development! The new character and Knight will be featured, as well as Yuzuru training to become stronger. Well I certainly don’t have to wait too long since we’re already half way through the week ahahaha.

Good Episode. I like the part where Yuya switch it up in this duel using that Magic Card that turn his monsters into pancake sandwiches the same as his Mom made. Thank You to Yuya’s Mom coming to his rescue by giving him a pancake sandwich to eat he really needed it and helping him to rethink his dueling. Michio was crazy through this hole duel thinking his recipe was perfect. But I think Michio redeem himself in the end by cooking for Yuya, his Mom, and friends and that made Yuya’s Mom very happy. I am ready for the next Episode and I am excited to see how things will go in this Episode. See how the Knight and the other duelist are working together and what they are planning. Also to see why LSD is after Yuya again. I am hoping this next Episode will start answering some or all questions.
