This episode continues the most moe fucking witch show ever I swear to God someone help me dying moe omg. The premise of today is the occult club looking for a UI, only for Shiba to realize it is Rurumo they are going to find. And of course, this can only end badly. It quickly does after several attempts at eating gone bad, when she begins to change her clothes. Naturally a desperate Shiba is tied up to stop his interference, and his response is to use his feet to try and untie the ropes (naturally). This of course thankfully makes his tickets fall out as he makes a wish to save poor Rurumo’s innocence.
Shiba manages to save her in a grandiose way, only to realize that the bigger the wish the more of his life will be used. He resolves to let Rurumo stay at his house rather than stay in the park, but has one fear…..his mother becomes a psycho killer nutjob at the idea of Shiba possibly hurting a girl or keeping her in his room. This is a valid thing to not want your son to do, but it’s scared the shit out of Shiba. The funniest thing this episode offers PERIOD is the creepy looks from his mother as she says “jiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii” and stares at him.
Kota spends the next few days sneaking Rurumo food and being incredibly stressed. Until one day he realizes the truth. . .he has been COHABITING WITH A WOMAN! A REAL LIVE WOMAN! HE’S BEEN LIVING THE GLORIOUS DREAM THAT ALL MEAN SHARE TO ONE DAY SLEEP IN THE SAME ROOM AS A WOMAN – TO SEE THEIR SOFT SKIN AS THEY GO TO SLEEP AND STARE LONGINGLY AT THEM AS THEY SNORE CUTELY. YES, KOTA HAS BEEN LIVING THIS DREAM AND FUCK EVERYTHING HE HAS TO COME HOME AND COHABIT SOME MORE
Kota rushes home and sleeps beside Rurumo for a few sweet moments…before his mom busts down the door and finds her suspicions to be correct.
Shiba is sure he is going to die until he wishes to fix it, and just like that his cohabitation dream is over. Rurumo is suddenly his little sister in the eyes of his family, and there goes that idea out the window. Kota, however, is happy just having been able to live in the memory.
Episode 3 starts off with the usual antics for Kota, he and his fellow club member are trying to peak in the girls locker room. He gets super into it until he supposes maybe a girl who’s changing late will be there and. . . it’s Rurumo. He even pokes at his friends eyes to make him stop peeking at Rurumo. Just the cutest thing that ever cuted.
His friend is pissed at him until he hears it was his ‘sister’ and then he understands. Unfortunately for Shiba, he can’t do much with his ‘sister’ while his mother is around and feels unlucky. Rurumo starts working at the school and has a hard time with it, but feels she must since she has failed in her training. Shiba feels guilty because he knows he has no choice but to halt her training or die, but ressolves to help her because of it.
Meanwhile Shiba’s club has taken note of her, as well as a mysterious girl…hey my new character senses are tingling! But as much as they persist Rurumo rejects their offers of friendship and admiration. Rurumo also rejects Shiba’s help, feeling she deserves to be punished for failing in her training.
The club gets a new member…who turns out to be the number one cutest smiling girl, Tanako Kujirai, and also the girl onlooking from earlier. She is nice to everyone including Shiba, who she says is nicer than the rumors say. She declares herself a witch but is instead awkward and incredibly not, but Shiba is nice to her anyway. Rurumo shows up to say the girl has no magic, which excites the leader who wants her to join, but she says no. Instead Tanako challenges her to a showdown, seeming to dislike her for some reason….which turns out to be her crush on shiba……or so he thinks, it’s really on..the president?! Shiba saves her with Rurumo’s magic and she turns around the glomp the president.
Shiba comforts Rurumo who seems to be falling and tripping a lot on her new job. She keeps declaring it was part of her punishment but not even the cat is sure what she means by that. Rurumo shows once again that while she is stoic and cute, her motivations inspire her and she may not be as unhappy in her own room, with so many new friends. . .as she thought. But most of all..she seems embarrassed by the dress that Kota picked out for her…and how happy it made her to be called cute by him.
