YES MORE PLOT! I AM SO HAPPY THIS WASN’T A FILLER EPISODE, OH MY GOD! I ENJOYED IT SO MUCH! I don’t know about you, but I am so fired up for what there is to come! This week the episode began with LDS’ Chairwoman Akaba Himeka (who is quite intimidating, I find her scenes and character design to be very intense) who returns after successfully merging yet another dueling school. She and her son Reiji (president of LDS) aspires to plant LDS all over the world, plucking and squashing all the small fries before they become stronger. Today’s target was Yuzu’s family’s Dueling School. The Chairwoman and Reiji were quick to jump at the opportunity to force Duel School to merge with them by taking advantage of Sakamichi being attacked by the Knight (who everyone at the moment, believes is present!Yuuya).
There is clearly something shady going on with LDS because there were several little hints, the most important one is mentioning there is an enemy that is quite a threat to them. The second that is also worth paying attention to is how Sakaki Yuushou is brought up. LDS have speculated that he may have joined forces with their enemies (whoever their enemies are. I get the feeling it might be the folks from the past like Sora and the Knight, kekeke you have to admit it, that would be quite exciting). She is also determined to investigate Yuuya thoroughly because it is unclear right now whether he is or will be a threat. I call that it is a cover-up when she claims that she doesn’t want LDS’ reputation to be tainted by a small fry school. I am almost 100% certain that there is more to it, especially when they are quite confident they will get their ways of producing pendulum cards thanks to the power they have in their hands.
Having seen the face of the Knight, Yuzu was put in a very awkward and helpless position today. LDS paid Sawatari’s goons to over-exaggerate Sawatari’s condition in the hospital (the truth is, he is perfectly fine) and made smug pointers that Yuzu had witnessed the culprit’s face and even identified him as Yuuya. I felt terrible for her because what are you supposed to think when the duelist has the face of your best friend used XYZ monsters? She was so troubled that she wasn’t herself today, she was trying so hard to put the pieces together because nothing made sense. I also appreciated the fact the Yuuya was not oblivious of Yuzu not being herself, and kept on asking her what was troubling her.
I am fired up for the three VS three duel, but the only two things I am worried about, is either not be able to see all three of our alliance duel, or Yuzu winning. I REALLY WANT HER TO WIN, especially since they are up against the aces of LDS. Naturally I also want Sora and Yuuya to win, but Yuzu is the only one we have yet to see duel seriously. But I must say I am quite excited to see what Sora will have in store for them because it appears that he is being underestimated right now (but you never know, LDS likes to do their background checks and research, I’m sure they have come prepared). And of course, I want Yuuya to DESTROY THEM while staying true to himself! <3 He was quite furious at the chairwoman because he doesn’t treat dueling as fighting, he does it for the fun of it and wants to entertain people while he does so.Next week, Yuuya VS LDS’ XYZ Student (whose name I have forgotten, but will remember next time)! Reiji will also be dropping by to either spy on them or do some sneak-sneaky stuff.
Good Episode!!! Things are starting to get serious in this episode! Reiji’s Mom coming back from making deals and raising hell for everyone at You Show Duel School mostly Yuya! I felt bad for Yuya having everyone outside of You Show Duel School thing he did something bad and he didn’t do anything wrong. Also felt bad for Yuzu not knowing what to do for Yuya if he did it or not being a witness to what happen to Sawatari. Sawatari should be ashamed of himself lying about being hurt so Yuya can get in Trouble for it and also to his friends for helping him to lied about how serious he was hurt. Reiji and his mom really want those Pendulum cards and Yuya and the school. She thought she could walk in their and thing Shuzou would hand over Yuya with his Pendulum Cards and You Show Duel School without a fight she was wrong and Now they are having to duel three on three and I have a bad feeling Yuya or Yuzu or Sora might lose their duel and that won’t be cool especially when Yuzu can’t decide if Yuya did it or not. So the first duel is Yuya vs Hokuto and I say the winner is Yuya!
I am actually quite relieved that Yuuya is going first because the odds of them losing become 50/50 (LOL just like his stats). By letting Yuuya go first also provides a chance for him to lose. The one thing I remember so vividly in 5DS was they’d put Yusei last in during the team duels and naturally 98% of the time the first two would lose and then Yusei would have to win through the rest of them. I hope that if Yuuya wins the first round, that they will switch to the second duelist (Sora or Yuzu) instead of having Yuuya continue onto the second opponent.
Am I the only one think the action field: “Cosmo Sanctuary” is a Saint Seiya reference? (guess i’ll have to see the action cards to be sure)
I like how their teacher can’t teach the students a game mechanic that is like one page in the little booklet they pack in the starter decks (I think it’s one page.. been a while since I’ve looked at one of those manuals…)
Anyway I think it’s a good chance Yuzu will win her fight, Sora is kind of arrogant and seems to come off as one of the stronger duelists of the school. so having having him lose the 2nd round and leave all the pressure on Yuzu would make for better (though kind of expected) drama.
Oh and I almost forgot. I think Sora might be from the GX era since fusion was extremely common in that series (to the extent that it actually kinda made sense that early on Chazz/Manjyome had a card specifically to counter fusion summons [Chthonian Polymer] )
True enough! I am so unfamiliar with GX that it’s not the first thing I would think of LOLOLOLOLOL!

Good Episode! Reiji’s Mom very scary when she is mad don’t want to mass with her! LSD had fun making the problem with Sawatari a big deal and it won’t like the part where he was very hurt and he was just faking so Yuya could get in to more trouble when he didn’t do it. Just so LSD could have You Show Duel School and Pendulum Summoning. Well it was very interesting that Reiji and his mom wants with Yuya and if they will make him join them with his Pendulum cards which we already known they want the Pendulum Cards. Well if you read the wiki it says that Yuya is First which we already known and Yuzu is second and then Sora is third so either Yuya or Yuzu will LOSE their duel! So Yuya, Yuzu, and Sora will all get to fight by what wiki says. Which is sad to see Yuya or Yuzu lose their duel but then how would they show us all three LSD Summoning they have at their school (Fusion Summon, Synchro Summon, and XYZ Summon) if one one of You Show Duel School Students don’t lose their duel.
