The Green haired girl makes contact with Momo and introduces herself as Kido. She says she’s like Momo…I say Stranger Danger. At least Momo reacts about the way I would. “Weirdo…”
Oh woah! Episode one makes a whole hell of a lot more sense now. I was wondering in certain scenes after Shintaro bumped into Kido why Kido wasn’t animated all the time. It’s her power, the inability to be noticed. The complete opposite of Momo and…
Momo passes out.
It’s time to meet some of the other characters. Marry, we’ve already met Kano, the brown haired guy isn’t announced but we welcome Momo to the Mekakushi-Dan or in commoners english. The Blind-fold Gang.
Now it’s time for the introductions!
Marry, the big fluffy one. Then there is Seto, his is the name I didn’t watch before. They point out how they noticed her and we begin talking about their powers. I want to know Kano’s! I doubt this episode will be nice enough to tell me though.
Kido and Kano’s chemistry amuses the hell out of me.
Marry trips and drops a bunch of tea, Momo’s cell phone drops in it.
Marry’s power is the locking eyes ability, by locking eyes with someone she can freeze them entirely.
Now we’re on a class field trip to the department store, in which they’re going to buy Momo a new cell phone and a new set of glasses for the gang. I believe this is where we are going to tie into episode one. Let’s see if I’m right. Also, have I mentioned how much I love Kano yet this review? I don’t think I have.
Well that was quick, now I know the two Kisaragi’s are siblings. Everyone is saying they look alike, I just don’t see it. I was totally right about this tying into episode one. Kano and Seto run up to the hostage situation from before to keep an eye on Shintaro.
His power is to deceive what others see? That’s all kinds of hot. Seto’s power is to see into others minds. That’s also really cool. The distraction is made and Ene, our cyber-girl is plugged into the computers and we end where episode one ended but from Momo’s point of view. With Shintaro unconscious.
Also, always remember to watch to the end of the credits for the Monsters story afterwards, I’m sure it’s going to be really important. Seriously though, this show has been amazing so far. I’ve heard there is a huge dislike for this show. I can’t imagine why! I should go check if there is a song for this episode now….
I don’t understand how this show gets show much hate…. So far it is absolutely amazing! I have never seen anything like it! I don’t what it is but it just has something so interesting and peculiar about it that makes it so great!
I feel the exact same way, it’s very stylized and beautiful looking. The characters and concepts are fun and the way it’s set up is just fantastic but I keep hearing it’s getting a lot of hate. Such an odd world we live in.
