Cardfight!! Vanguard Legion Mate [ep 169] for the er….’bond’ with my ‘mate’

This week is literally a card game battle over who loves Aichi more. CALL IT WHO HAS A DEEPER BOND ALL YOU WANT BUT LETS BE FOR REAL HERE they were in a battle with a card game over who deserves Aichi’s dick more. Guys. GUYS. GUUUUUYS.

There’s some interesting shit for Kourin people who are wondering what’s the deal there, but I’m gonna be for real with you. 90% of this episode is Ollivier and Kai gay flame battling it out for who has a ‘deeper bond’ with Aichi and I’m not shitting you it’s a comparison of their bonds with Aichi I just IT’S …WHAT MORE CAN I SAY IT’S JUST SO GAY that rhymed someone make a song out of it.

The card game was actually really good this episode but it was really hard not to get distracted by what they were doing. Ollivier is wielding Gold Paladin that he apparently got from Aichi and Kai is so freaked out he must be like IT EVEN SMELLS LIKE HIM FROM ALL THE WAY OVER HERE insert ollivier going NO MY BOND WITH HIM IS STRONGER you guys stop it you’re not helping

And even worse…….he uses THE EXACT SAME ALFRED AICHI USED IN THIS DECK AAAAAH!!!! THERE’S NO WAY THIS IS JUST A MASS PRODUCED CARD HE GOT IN A BOX OR THAT HE TOOK IT FROM AICHI

The entirety of the episode is literally “Well I’m closer to Aichi he hates you lets just uhm you know call it a day, you forget Aichi, everything will be good.”

And I assume Kai’s real words had he ever been given a chance to stop being so flaming, haha, cause…cause his bond with Aichi is pushing it as friends at this point. But if he’d had the chance he would’ve said,

“What do you want me to just seriously pretend or if I even think of him will you be pissed.”

And then just imagine Ollivier popping into Kai’s room at night “I HEAR YOU DREAMING ABOUT AICHI DO I HAVE TO CARD BATTLE YOU RIGHT NOW?”

So apparently.. . .he is part of the ‘Quatro Knights’ who are ‘sworn to protect Aichi’s slumber’ so apparently the shadowy figure of Aichi is really just sleeping Aichi. Okay if this season ends with Kai card battling him out of his sleep I’m going to smack my head, the only thing worse would be a sleeping beauty kiss.

Despite getting a Legion together Kai still gets six damage…..and so Ollivier sets him on fire. No shit he SETS KAI ON FIRE

 

OVER REACTION CENTRAL DO WE NEED TO KILL SOME GAY CLOWNS IN THIS BITCH BECAUSE THIS IS…THIS IS NOT A GOOD THING GOING ON HERE BUT APPARENTLY HE IS ASKING FOR IT BY NOT FORGETTING HIS FRIEND OKAY NEVERMIND THIS IS WAY SCARY BUTLER GUY WILL BE TEN TIMES SCARIER IF HE CAN SET PEOPLE INTO GIANT PILLARS OF FLAME

So Kai gets the smackdown and Ollivier leaves……….and so what can they do now? Even Legion can’t stand up to the power of the Quatre Knights! Kai collapses as Ollivier mocks him, telling him he’ll never be able to win, and so long as he doesn’t forget Aichi, Ollivier will always appear.
