today we learn how witches die IT WAS A COLD THAT’S HOW

The only thing important to this episode is the first minute. We see that Kuroha is very injured when she comes to school and she answers every question the show has in one minute. It was a cold.

Okay so this episode we learn something about the mystery of the show- the witches will die when they run out of pills called death suppresants. Okay kind of bleak they’d call it that but. Ok death suppresants. And when they don’t take them for over 30 hours, their skin starts to break apart and they bleed everywhere. THEN THEIR ORGANS MELT THEIR ORGANS MELT AND FUCK THESE MAGICAL DEATH PILLS …A LICH I SAY. THEY ARE NOT WITCHES THESE BITCHES ARE LICHES

 

So basically they figure out through THE CONVENIENT SUPER MEMORY of the main character that they need to bust into a pharmaceutical company to get more pills so they won’t die. They even bring in someone else in order to do this but of course blah blah there’s someone there who Kana predicts will kill Kuroha.

I have to admit the main character’s super speshful memory is just bullshit. I hate when anime sets up a plot element they can’t really solve without impossible circumstances being met, and because they can’t end the show they have to meet a circumstance that is impossible. It makes the show less believable and the dangers less real. I didn’t feel like for even a moment that any of them would actually die while watching this episode.

Kana predicts a super witch named Saori will be there to cut Kuroha into pieces, and even continues to explain that she is far above them. They were actually going to be discarded because they were defective and so of course, this means ughhghfdkjhg. The worst is that to make this happen they had to set the house on fire in a stupid way and burn the pills. Like. What. Do you really expect any of the viewers to believe in the eminent death coming up if they just throw a contrived destructive method at us. It’s really hard to take this show seriously when it can’t set its’ own tone for garbage.

Anyway Kuroha decides basically she’s going to die so ….the….main….character SHIT I JUST READ HIS NAME IN THE SUBTITLES TOO I SERIOUSLY CANT FUCKING REMEMBER IT’S EPISODE 3 MAN anyway so he can get them the pills. He opts to run back to try and save her and Kana predicts from back home they’ll both die. And then…REVELATIONS. GUESS WHAT? KUROHA IS IN FACT KURONEKO OH OH

Anyway so blah blah he runs out to save Kuroneko from Saori and of course he saves her from Saori’s abilit-
