Thank you for 1 000 000 Hits!

On March 8^th 2013, AngryAnimeBitches Anime Blog reached 1 000 000 Hits. I would like to extend my thanks to our readers for your support and responses. It is great pleasure of ours to blog as it is something we as a team are very passionate about.

This is a huge accomplishment for me personally as my ultimate goal since I first opened this blog was to one day reach one million hits. It was a dream, a dream that was fulfilled by you our visitors and readers. So thank you for helping achieve for the very first time, one of my lifetime goals. Thanks to you, I have more faith in myself to aim high and work to accomplish my goals without giving up halfway because of self-doubts.
Three and a half years ago I started out this blog two years after having crawled out of a depression. During that time I had lost something very precious to me that had always played a big role in my life: Creative Writing. By blogging Anime, and more importantly- having a positive response from you our dear readers and a successful and consistent growth, I have been able to once more take a hold of that passion and write again.
My first experience blogging was back in Wonderland of Anime (June – September 2009) and my second time was with Hateshigani Yume (June – October 2009). Before long both were abandoned for good. During that time, I was very lonely, isolated and didn’t have anyone who shared my passion and interest, nor did I didn’t have any true RL friends then. So blogging Anime was my way of getting my inner passion out there. At the time I didn’t really know what I was doing, nor was I really devoted to it.
And now for the past three and half years, I have grown OBSESSED with blogging, so much to the point I driven myself into dealing with Tendonitis. I would (and I still do, but of course less time now and I have to wear splints) hours and hours blogging. Being forced on an 9 months hiatus KILLED ME. It was torture because at that point, blogging was the center of my life, and it continues to be because it pulled out my lost passion for writing from the abyss of my heart.
I was scared that I was going to lose it. I didn’t want to give it up. It is my happiness and my passion. I have so much fun doing this, I have so much fun reading and replying to your comments, entering discussions and so on. I love writing theories, speculating and digging deeper into understanding both the plot and characters, and of course- ranting. The best part about blogging though is that you are not bounded down by ‘formalities’. It is informal writing- unless you decide otherwise- but at the same time, you can be serious about it. Oh and of course, one of the best things you could ever ask for is literally being able to see your growth and development, as well shaping your own individual writing style.
Running a blog with a team is not only more meaningful, but you get more out of it. It is memorable, fun but along the way you are bond to encounter inevitable bitter experience. But what is important is you come to accept it, learn from it, and move on.
I would like to extend my thanks to the team. Without them, I am sure this blog would have been put onto a shelf a couple months after I had started. I always have so much fun writing and chatting with you guys. Truly, you guys are the best.
