Robotics; Notes Episode 16 - (17)

“Building giant robots is my dream. Everyone admires giant robots. Giant robots are the heroes of children. Giant robots are the warriors of justice! I love giant robots!” – Aki

Summary:

The Robotics Club finally manages to finish the GunPro-2 and started out their first test with Nae’s approval. Even with GunPro-2’s success, it is seem the meeting that Nae went to resulted for another rocket project to be done on the same place where GunPro-2 was developed and they were forced to switch back to the abandoned hangar.

Kai, on the other hand, managed to get the location of the Kimijima Report No. 7 – the last one – but was stopped by Mizuka added by another interruption of the Kagome Kagome tone. Wind over Tanegashima also changes its speed while the GunPro-2 is being tested for more walking and resulted to an accident.

Impression:

Do you know how I feel? Do you? DO YOU?! OMG! So many feels in one episode. Too many things happened all at once and I don’t even think my brain would be okay after a few hours. Oh damn it. I do know that this series had always been this way. I mean, things would go so nice and would go as planned and something like a FATHER WANTED HIS SON TO BE A FISHERMAN COMES and a dream will end. Yes, exactly the same happens in this. Two accidents at once. Two dreams might also be broken because of that. Just so when everything was so awesome and when everything was already going so smoothly, some robot malfunction, wind and skeleton project getting out of control destroys the good mood.

MY FACE SINCE THE ODD THINGS STARTED ON THE EPISODE. EXACTLY THE FACE I MADE.

HAPPY. EXCITED. TEARY. PISSED. SHOCKED. ANXIOUS. MORE SHOCKED. DAMN MORE SHOCKED. PANICED. EVERYTHING.

Robotics; Notes Episode 16 - (18)The initial test of the GunPro-2 was a success. It moved nice and smoothly and the use of the monopoles were actually pretty damn useful and efficient. Not to mention it seriously rained of them! Many of them! Piles of them! And GunPro-2 was actually pretty awesome and I can’t even believe such high schoolers can even create something as awesome as that. I was pretty much into tears because that project actually looks cool EVEN WITHOUT THE FREAKING POKECOM SCREEN. I mean, with just those metals and Aki’s head drawing is good enough for it to be called a moving giant robot and you can play with it but too dangerous, especially with its cannon-like battery source. No – seriously that thing can kill and they are allowed to use it?! JAXA, why you no in real life, huh? So anyway, what I’m trying to say is that, Aki’s dream, even after all those things that happened to Gunvarrel’s image, she still stuck to her words and her dream. I like this side of Aki and I’m actually having the same thought as Subaru regarding her. At times, she’s too pushy but at times, “She knows what she’s doing” as Kai said. This kind of characteristic suits a team leader, imo.

I believe, EXOSKELETON really used that Rocket Project just to get in the way of Nae. Seeing that sad face of hers really hurts my heart. And to think that because of this resulted to an accident I didn’t expect to happen and I didn’t want to happen at all. Oh, how I wish that in the next episode, it won’t show anything that serious where our dear Subaru is concerned. I don’t want that to happen. His character is too cool (and weird) to be laid in a hospital and be tsun-tsun all the time. It just doesn’t suit him! Pretty much clear that there was something odd with the wind/weather. I mean, how can wind blow up a skirt like that?! SRSLY?! In an open space, wind doesn’t blow skirts like that. It just can’t. Impossible. No matter how hard the wind blows, it just can’t. Unless the direction is from bellow the ground which is really impossible. And how can Jun just stopped GunPro-2 just like that with no balance when the wind is blowing so strong and this is where I wished that GunPro-2 have some additional metal on it just for the weight for that accident not to happen. And if only Kai was there to pilot the gawdamn robot.

WHY ARE YOU WORRYING ABOUT FRAU, WOMAN!?!?!

Then, Kai manage to locate the last Kimijima Report – which appeared out of nowhere when it was least expected and was stopped by Mizuka. The two was stopped by the Kagome-Kagome ring tone and when they accepted the call, it only released some loud static and was cut. Then there’s this skeleton that Mizuka’s wearing and suddenly went out of control and cause the next accident that I never thought would actually be too painful. How a freaking skeleton can knows how to walk and handle its owner like it has a mind and knows where the open grill of the cliff is?! What is this?! Does that thing have some controls or what?! Does that Kogome-Kagome tone have something to do with this!? No, I don’t want to think about it. I’m more worried about Subaru and Kai’s state of mind after all this and what he plans to do about the last report of Kimijima Kou.
