So this episode begins with Goemon accepting an assassination job on a President of a very small country. Meanwhile, Fujiko is in the vicinity while being dressed and posing as a teacher for small children. Thankfully she’s holding back on the boobies right now.
Turns out, Fujiko is the governess for the President’s grandchildren…who are the next in line as heirs. While running around with ice cream Marco, the one set to become heir, actually runs into Goemon and gets strawberry ice cream on him >_> Fujiko then talks to him and Goemon freezes on who he is and what he’s there for, but then he…cuts a bunny into the tea tray they brought him and says he is a traveling entertainer. OH GOEMON YOU WERE NEVER REALLY GOOD AT LYING WERE YOU?
I….I don’t know how to express how fabulous it is to see Goemon be so lolworthy and true to his…derpyness and inability to lie, while Fujiko is obviously like OH HAY LOL I GET IT YOU’RE TOTALLY SUSPICIOUS
The train’s engineer is then killed by someone who seems to want Goemon dead, as he says his name. Goemon proceeds to enter the President’s section of the train and as they try to shoot him he completely IS A BADASS AND CUTS THROUGH BULLETS AND IS AWESOME AND IS GOEMON SO FABULOUS SO AWESOME SO GOEMON.
So Goemon and Fujiko work together to get the children to safety, and Fujiko anguishes as all the national treasure and portraits are blown up. The Baron that The President’s daughter is married to was behind it all, and Goemon returned his money to him all cut up. “Maria” aka Fujiko then leaves in the night and runs into Goemon, who asks her who she is, and confirms she’s on his side of the law and then oh god

This episode I did not expect to like so much. But so far it’s been my favorite, just because of the last few minutes. Goemon was so funny the entire episode and even cuts off some guys boxers and said I’VE CUT YET ANOTHER TRIFLING THING!! And it’s so funny. And Fujiko and Goemon…don’t know why I ship it so hard but.
