Well well, since the last Flash anime we had of this, I wasn’t too keen when I saw this show popping up this season, and I have to admit that, although it wasn’t as terrible as the flash, I could’ve made an endless list of all the generic things that popped up in this single episode. It’s sad how I can see the ending already…

Summary
Nyarlathotep is a Cthulu which descended from another planet to save Planet Earth. Meanwhile, she also buys eroges, talks all the time, and jumps all over our main protagonist, Mahiro Yasaka, who tends to chase her around with a fork whenever she does something stupid so, all the time.
Impression
You know, this season saddens me…
NO SHOW SEEMS TO BE TERRIBLE ENOUGH FOR ME TO BASH IT COMPLETELY!!! I WANT MY RANT OF THE SEASON!!! 🙁
Anyways… After that flash anime which wasn’t worth watching, I must admit, I didn’t expect something like this to come out of it. I thought it would be much more horrible than this…
Anyhow, this wasn’t too bad, but honestly, it won’t be on my watching list. Any more cliché than this and I think I’ll die of boredom. The OP was generic, so was the ED, the concept is overused, and I already know this is going to turn into the traditional “harem-style-fantasy-crap” that Infinite Stratos and so many other shows followed perfectly. I only enjoyed a few things in this episode, and they aren’t enough for me to keep this going.
…Okay, scratch that, I enjoyed one thing out of this whole episode, and that was seeing Mahiro running around with a fork, chasing after Nyarlathotep. Or throwing a textbook at her face. Or just plain hitting her. I swear, the violence used in this whole episode was absolutely great. It made me a little happier on the inside, getting rid of the IMMENSE RAGE that Nyaruko inspired me. She is the most annoying thing I’ve ever seen. SERIOUSLY. Someone ship her back to her planet ASAP, before I start throwing kitties.
The Pokemon reference also made me giggle quite a bit, but apart from that, I can’t say I was bored but I was rather crumpled up over how overused everything was in this. Next thing you know, they’ll add a few other girls in the harem, plug in a swimsuit episode, end the series with an open ending which barely leaves Mahiro with Nyarlathotep as his girlfriend, and you’ve got the rest of the show. Kthxbye.
Not only is this concept overused, but the fact that Nyaruko is so damn freaking annoying makes this show even less interesting, and I do like the art and the humour isn’t bad, but I’m sick of overused concepts, so forget about me on this one.
Possibility of watching: If I have time Which I don’t. problem solved.
Possibility of blogging: Nope.
