Episode 11: Soushi’s Past

Soushi thinks back into this past and explains to himself why felt he had been deceiving Ririchiyo all this time.

Impression:

Poor Soushi, until he started writing the letters to Ririchiyo he was completely empty. His past is pretty depressing and I pity the guy for having to go through all that in order to obtain freedom. It was a good thing that Kagerou’s mother had a keen eye and was able to help him out.
My heart did tug a bit when Ririchiyo immediately remarked how she already knew it wasn’t Kagerou and when Soushi embraced her.
Kagerou did something good for an exchange and told Ririchiyo the truth and apologized to her for not being the one to write the letters and regret getting to know her better.
Overall, I would say this is the strongest and most interesting episode yet. For once it’s actually about the plot and wrapping up the ‘mystery’ which was pretty obvious after a few episodes. Honestly I don’t know what they plan to do for the finale, Ririchiyo looks emotional and Soushi is wandering off somewhere chatting on the phone- so who knows what they are up to. *Shrugs*

Episode 12: Confessions [FINAL]

The gang decides to put some letters into a Time Capsule so that their future selves can read it. Ririchiyo however soon finds out that she delivered Soushi the letter she meant to put in the the capsule and freaks out.

Final Impression:
OKAY INU X BOKU SS, I FORGIVE YOU!
IT WAS SUCH A SWEET ROMANTIC ENDING!!!!!!
Okay seriously this is like a breath of fresh air, I can’t believe I actually put up with this for so long… Then again, I managed to put up with YGO ZeXal for 20 episodes, so my tolerance levels should be a bit higher- but oh my god, seriously- this was the best episode yet. I was shrieking out loud and couldn’t stop laughing, I had tears in my eyes. It was perfect. I loved it. Seriously why couldn’t they had made the first ten episodes be as funny and interactive as this one!?! I mean it was so gloomy with the ‘dramatic’ BGM that the humour was completely overshadowed by it. Gosh- this episode, I enjoyed throughly from start to finish.
When Ririchiyo realized that Soushi absolutely despises himself, she wanted to become a source of comfort and a small flame of hope. So she mustered up the courage to confess to him because thanks to having fallen in love with him, helped her find her courage in the first place.
The whole confession was beautiful and made me all warm and fuzzy inside. I love simple confessions like this, it leaves a greater impact on the audience.
The way the episode ended was even more sweet, but I have to say it was bittersweet. I MEAN SERIOUSLY HOW MANY SHOUJOS DO YOU KNOW WHERE THE GUY MENTIONS HOW HE’D LIKE TO HAVE A CHILD, A FAMILY! MY HEART COULDN’T HANDLE THAT- IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL! ;A;
In the end Inu x Boku SS for 10 episodes was incredibly boring, and it’s really the final two episodes that left a more positive impact on my opinion based on how I feel about this show. While it succeeded winning my heart here in the finale, I’m afraid that I can’t completely turn a blind eye to the dull experienced I had experienced beforehand.
