Seriously, Issei has nothing on this guy.

Summary

Tristain welcomes back the group who went to Romalia, hailing Saito and friends as heroes who saved the country and throwing them a party. When Louise hears from Saito that he wants to find a house for them to live in, she goes searching for one with Siesta but can’t find a suitable one that she likes. Queen Henrietta ends up giving some territory to Saito with an old mansion included, but what Louise doesn’t expect is for Siesta and Tabitha to turn up in the same bed as Saito.

Impression

I saw a hint of the previous season in this episode, though I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s degenerated completely yet. It’s that kind of wacky, slightly insane non-plot yet non-filler kind of feeling, that’s been trademark of this series all the way through. Maybe it’s that old traditional magician principal guy. Somehow I’m never as amused by him being perverted than when Saito is perverted. I finally get the Lemon-chan/Melon-chan joke now, what else could it be other than boobs once again?

Siesta has officially cockblocked Saito from getting laid this ep, though I don’t think he would have minded either way. For us fans, we’ve lost yet another potential Louise x Saito scene, and we don’t get many of those considering the number of other girls in this show. Although we will never know what went on when they were out of sight in that small boat…

In terms of plot, we had more of the aftermath with the Joseph incident, with that elf actually giving an antidote to Tabitha to cure her mother. In a way, I’m glad that a resolution to this was finally reached, since Tabitha’s past and childhood was one of this show’s past highlights. What I don’t get is why they have to request her to become queen of an entire country – I doubt she has much experience, and her mother would do a better job. Actually maybe not, given her recent mental state. Right okay, go with Tabitha.

So Saito’s harem has officially started up now that Henrietta gave him this slightly rundown mansion, De Ornielle. Apart from Louise and Siesta, which would have been harem enough, we’ve got Tabitha (now Queen Charlotte) moving in as well, whose Saito-crush probably developed from his efforts to save her back in Season 3. Oh, and from that preview Henrietta’s going to start living there too. I wouldn’t be surprised if Tiffa follows soon after. Wait, WHAT IS THIS I DON’T EVEN. It’s okay though Saito, I’m nowhere near as jealous of you as I am of Araragi Koyomi.

I guess that’s what you get with harems, with the lead haremette always so close yet so far, while the other girls are in various degrees of denial or attraction. I was kinda hoping that Louise x Saito would become more concrete, but it looks like that’s too much to hope for right now.

As in, Issei from High School DxD who wants to be a Harem King can’t even compare to Saito, since his harem is amazing. Two queens, an elf, a Japanese maid, and Louise. And two of them are Void users.

It’s certainly better than the 3rd Season, since amongst the fanservice we actually have an interesting plot. I was surprised with how fast Joseph died though…
