A slice of life show made by Sunrise and Square Enix? Time for Lelouch to defeat Sephiroth !
No in fact the show is nothing about mecha or role playing game, it is a comedy slice of life and let me tell you, it is really stupid. If you like this kind of humour, you will love it, otherwise you will wonder how many braincell you loss watching this episode. Personally, I love this kind of humour.
The show is divided in small short sketches that are not related from one to the other, it is really a pure slice of life, there seems to be no continuity what so ever, I don’t expect to see any character development or story going on, this is pure comedy for the sake of comedy. Every sketch follow a predictable pattern for jokes, there is initially an ordinary situation, that quickly turn weird because the character are stupid and eventually there is the final punch which ends the short. It is quite repetitive in its formula, but I think it can still be funny if executed properly.
My biggest worries with this show, is not how entertaining it will be, but more how hard it will be to cover. A story this repetitive and without any continuity, I don’t know what I will be able to talk about on a weekly basis. While it is certain that I will watch this show, I’ll still wait a little to see if I cover it or not.
I like the simplicity of the show, how stupid the characters are, it has great potential to become something really funny, it reminds me of Baka to test in a way, it has the same kind of stupid jokes with stupid character, but the style of the story is a little different, I don’t expect any real romance or epicness coming from this show, just stupid jokes for a season.
I’m still confused about what I should do with this one, but I’ll try to have it all figured out before next week when I’ll watch the second episode featuring those 3 dumb boys.

I loved this show too and pretty much had a good laugh. I’m glad it turned out to be te opposite or rather not even close to what Kimi Boku was like. I thought about covering it, but I’ve never had an easy time covering these type of shows- and like you said, repetitive skits and the fact it isn’t exactly about the plot makes it so difficult.
