The episode was definitely a change of mood since the shocking turn of events that Team Unicorn had to face. Only this time, Aki was the victim and is now in a comma for god knows how long.
I somehow was expecting this sooner or later since they really want the BFF trio to duel together, but man- not that I hate Crow… It’s just a real bummer to see that Aki only got to participate once. Well I suppose I shouldn’t complain since they didn’t have to make her a D-Wheeler anyways… But I really love seeing her duel.
AND IT WOULD’VE BEEN PERFECT AND BADASS IF AKI’S PSYCHIC POWERS HAD WORKED!
BUT NO.
THEY FUCKING CONVENIENTLY DISAPPEARED.
*SIGHS* Whatever… This is part of her character development, but man losing out on the Psychic powers sucks…
Team Catastrophe is a pretty dangerous team, all because of Placido (from Yliaster) handing them the Hidden Knight – Hook monster. That thing is not just solid vision, it actually attacks the opponents and is the culprit for targeting both Team Unicorn’s and Team 5D’s members.
They also like to play dirty, since Harmann decided to be physical while fighting for the first corner and aimed for Crow’s bad arm (since unfortunately he’s on the inside of the track).
As for Yliaster, we still don’t quite understand why they are targeting Team 5Ds and why they want them out of the way so badly. We also don’t know what the Circuit’s plan is for and what will happen when it’s complete. Anyhow, what we don’t know about them is that Placido likes to move according to his own pace and is pretty dangerous.
