After thinking over her choices, Haruka decides that she just can’t choose one and suggests they enter as a group. However only Otoya and Shou agree right away to do so while the rest of the boys either decline or asked to think about it. Right then, Shining Saotome and Ringo pops in revealing that it’s against the rules to be in a group and that if Haruka doesn’t choose one person, they will all fail.

MY EMOTIONS- I CANNOT CONTAIN IT!
I had so many reactions (from squealing like a fangirl, to yelling at the screen to the point my parents asked my a number of times to “STFU” and laughing my ass off) for this episode, it’s mind blowing. First of all I was like, “OH FUCK, NO NO NO NO- SERIOUSLY?! OH COME ON!” When Haruka had proposed the group idea. I was ecstatic to see that 4/6 of the boys did not jump right on board like Shou and Otoya had, I was yelling like my team had scored a goal during the Stanley Cup finals for Hockey when Saotome showed up and announced that being in a group is against the rules and if they don’t follow them, they will all be disqualified and fail. Of course then we got some boys being stubborn as Haruka and try to make this work because the composition is absolutely fabulous. During that part I was like, “NOOOOO OH COME ONNNN!!!!!”
And at that point I knew, Shining Saotome was going to let them do their group plan- and he sure did. I couldn’t take the singing scene seriously whatsoever- so overdramatize (but still crazy and funny, just the way we like it) and Shining looked like he was high on drugs or something! Not that is new or anything… That’s when I was just about to flip the table in rage going, “GOD DAMN IT!!!!” when suddenly, BAM – we see Tokiya at his agency, napping (absolutely adorable) and his manager comes in to see his cellphone ringing and DUN DUN DUN~ HE SEES SHINING SAOTOME CALLING.

FUCK YES! THERE’S STILL PLOT AND CONFLICTS IN THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *VICTORY DANCE* THAT MEANS SHIT CAN GET REAL AGAIN, TOKIYA IS GOING TO BE SCREWED- DON’T KNOW WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN, BUT WHATEVER IT IS, IT’S GOING TO BE PROBLEMATIC! (OR SO I HOPE!!! T^T/) AND BAM, MORE AWESOMENESS- AND AND…

Though I do confess I’m disappointed to see that it’s pretty much confirmed with Starish Ending =3= I have 1% hope that I’m clinging onto for Tokiya x Haruka ending. And if it really does come true, they trolled us, big time. Then again, most of us were expecting it since 99% of the reverse-harmen-based-off-otome-games end up with open endings….
Overall the episode was definitely cliched and corny, but in ways still enjoyable. The pace however I felt just a bit rushed, in fact before I knew it, the episode was over. I have to say though the quality of the animation did falter again, and it felt like Shining Saotome was lacking energy today when he was pointing out that the group plan was against the rules – but that part might just be me. I’m looking forward to next week’s episode and find out how both Shining Saotome and Tokiya are going to handle ‘Hayato’s agent’ discovering their connection.
