L.M land so that they can check the ship’s functions and make sure it’s ready to go for their next destination. They encounter another terrorist group known as Alabaster and a man who was caught taking pictures of them identified as a pervert. Clain however, fascinated that this man was using an antique digital camera, chased him down requesting him to show him his stuff. Thrilled to see that everything in the man’s house was antique the two have a short conversation and then Clain is told by the man to return in the evening to see something even more spectacular. Arriving late for supper, Clain not only didn’t get any leftover (because there wasn’t any left) but was thrown on night duty. In the end he ends up ditching the duty only to be caught by Phryne who demands him to take her with him.
After arriving to the man’s house, the man tells him to climb up his satellite tower where as he reveals the startling truth of what the Fractale system does and how it influences people lives. He then tells them to head down into town that they were looking down upon where they saw Anabaster’s true colors as a group and people’s shocking behavior. Returning to the man, the two both notice that he is suffering a health issue. Before the three depart, the man gives Clain his digital camera.

Impression:

No, no no no no no no no no no no no!!!!! WHY? WHY DIDN’T HE TELL HIM THAT HE WAS HIS FATHER? WHY? THAT’S NOT FAIR! EVEN MORE UNFAIR THAT PHRYNE HASN’T TOLD HIM YET!
It was absolutely adorable to see Clain act like a fanboy inspecting the antiques his father collected.  Speaking of his father, the moment we first saw him in beginning I found that he resembled Clain, and the episode went on I did grow worry about his health considering he kept on coughing and was almost struggling to breathe. I cried when I saw Phryne looking at the pictures. I can’t help but wonder if Clain will be able to meet his mother as well, that is if she’s alive still.
As I thought in the beginning of the episode, the rebel terrorist group Alabaster are very cruel people. I figure as much because it was almost too good to be true, and the L.M don’t get along with them very well. I expect to see the rivalries clash in the future episodes, otherwise potentially team up – but that I have to doubt because of how they deal with things.
So this episode gave us the explanation of how the balloons (though we never witnessed it) have crashed, and what was happening. It’s even more interesting how the Fractale system sets up illusions. So these towns aren’t actually built, they are just images that people are brainwashed to see and feel. I find it even more disturbing how people live in these things.
Now Phryne. She was SO CUTE THIS EPISODE! Omg, she really taken in Clain’s remark about how Nessa is like a new born baby and wants to try everything, so now she wants to let loose and just have fun. I also loved how she was determined to go with Clain and used the excuse how she is Phryne before she’s a girl.
Anyways that’s it for this week. I’m anxiously waiting for the new episode.
